Yeah they came right at his plant leg on that one too! He avoided it, but it did get his eyes off.

He's staying because even though he may have some inconsistency, he's been money on getting the ball down for Boz where he wants it. You don't want to rock that boat any more than you have to when Boz is making 50+ yarders with bad snaps!

I think that is why Trubisky got some reps holding in preseason, in case Harvin didn't keep the job or if he got hurt during the season.

Yeah, but you can't tell me that he hasn't saved a few bad snaps and Boz trusts him to get it down.

I agree with you. I'm just pointing out that they have done some work to prepare for this. Hopefully, he is able to go Sunday and we won't have to worry about it.

Of course. You never know when an injury is going to occur, and teams always have a backup plan for that.

I wish I could say something positive about him but I groan every time he runs out onto the field.

We would all rather he got less work, but I think we should also all be ready to admit that Harvin has been very good this season.

    So does the turf.

He’s been pretty good overall this year. I can’t complain.

Every time I desperately want him run out of Pittsburgh, he always seems to turn it around and deliver a bafflingly elite string of career saving performances - yet his previous erratic displays of inconsistency are never too far behind him, leaving one with the nagging sense that his next period of perplexing mediocrity and/or flat out awfulness, is only just around the corner.

He's basically the Mike Tomlin of punters.

Anybody know if this hamstring injury is his plant leg or kicking leg? Porky has one job to keep his legs stretched and in shape. It's not like he's had to all of a sudden sprint after a returner. Unreal luck we get sometimes, hoping this doesn't linger. Now someone said he is expected to play on Sunday, its no time for a shank or 25 yard punt. If he's not 100% bring the other dude in!!

Your assertion is partly fiction; he's listed 18th, slightly less than average, in both avg. distance and net.

Not horrid, an improvement over his past play. He's let a few rip downfield which has helped our pitiful offense.

It's not fiction. It is an opinion. If you are going to steal someone else's rhetorical tactic, at least use it properly.

"I think we should also all be ready to admit that Harvin has been very good this season."

An assertion disputed with factual analysis. 18th is not a "very good" performance. 18th is below half of 32 teams. Your comments were proven fiction.

It's an opinion. I am sorry you don't understand the difference between opinion and fact. You also don't understand the definition of fiction. You should send a nasty letter to your high school English teachers. They failed you.

Also, "He's let a few rip downfield which has helped our pitiful offense." Even you see the value he has provided. I didn't write that he had been great. I didn't write that he had been elite. I wrote that he had been very good. That is my opinion. You are welcome to disagree with it, but fiction would be making things up that either definitely didn't happen or I had no way of knowing they happened. I did neither of those things, so your use of the word fiction is not accurate. Please do better.

I think he punted in the XFL or some other league some of that time, so it's not like he hasn't picked up a football in all of that time.

He’s only 18th by the singular statistic you picked to suit your needs

The two things he Has been asked to do are keep it inside the 20 and prevent a return

    He’s 2nd and 5th at this

He’s actually at the top of the list of punters
