Harvin

He has been better about that this season, though one of his fourth-quarter punts wasn't great.

 

If we're complaining about a 41 yard punt, Harvin's doing something right.
Also, kudos to the coverage team. Usually when boots are that far, long returns can be expected. Didn't happen Sunday night.

 

It was a 41-yard punt with poor hang time, but it's better than some of the stinkers he has punted in the past.

 

yea harvin with a hammy injury is not good. that's also Bosworth's holder. could mess up some timing.

 

I'd rather not see the punter, wish we just would score more points.

Harvin been getting lots of reps this season, earning his pay check for sure.

What really helps the coverage team is the hang time on his punts. He isn't kicking line drives, he has a lot of height on his punts.

 

I read an article where he is specifically instructed to punt in such a way the punts are not returned

Last year he was 5th in the NFL in the category you don’t cut a punter who is doing what you ask him to and doing it well contrary to the knucklehead comments from the pea brains

Now consistency has room for improvement and that may be coming

Pressley Harvin definitley has gotten much, much better since the beginning of the season after the loss to San Fran. However.... no one was remotely good that day.... sans T.J. Watt. Back to back weeks of stellar play though has PH3 back in the fold.

 

A bit O' Fire under the @ss. Called out. I will give Tomlin an atta boy for that. Seem it has worked.

 

I didn't have a problem with Harvin, he's a little inconsistent, but I wasn't ready for them to get rid of him like some fans wanted to.

 

Dude has been pretty dang good this year(please don't jinx it) , and nobody should be on his case right now.

Some channels seem to be getting away with more now. I watched Walking Dead on AMC and it took until the final season for them to let an actor drop an f-bomb. But only one per episode. The newest spinoff let's them get away with 2.
