Johnson and McFarland to injured reserve

    Johnson was the only real bright spot on offense last week and his loss is a big blow for the next four weeks. I agree that this thrusts Austin into a much larger role, or at least asks him to do it earlier than expected. Olszewski should see some time tonight, but I think we will see more of Washington and Heyward. Using two and three tight ends more often also provides support for the tackles against Myles Garrett.

    McFarland's injury is just more of the same. I focused more on his poor production for three years in the league, but injuries are yet another reason the team hasn't been able to rely on him.

    Apparently, one entire game of looking like a useful player was too much for him.
