is Braden Mann still available, we have got to move on from Pressley Harvin. he's been completely inconsistent and need a punter who can put with consistency.

Just another Tomlin foible: Hey, but he relates to Harvin, they are best buddies. No sense in doing your job. Just be good buddies with the coach is good enough with this team. Need a reliable punt? How's 30 yards grab you? That's the punter our genius head coach decided to keep. No problems with him, right? I love the fans who actually defend that decision. Hilarious.

 

The police have dropped all charges against Araiza so I don't know why no one has signed him. He is a once in a generation punting talent.

I read the article, have no clue how this works out, but the last line tells a lot, the ongoing lawsuit has teams shying away. You just do not need the negative spot light on your team, especially over a guy who gets a minimal number of snaps a game.

 

He may not play many snaps, but he has a huge impact on field position.

 

The girl has a civil suit against him and he is counter suing her lawyer for lying about him. The DA has not pressed charges against him because he left before the alleged rape took place. There are no criminal charges against him so if I was a team owner I wouldn't hesitate to sign him. He is this generations Ray Guy.

 

I was kinda on my soapbox about Harvin a while back, now I think Tomlin is just comfortable rollin with him.

I don't see a change coming any time soon.

 

I want to see Branden Mann put on a regular basis, he has a pretty good leg and once average 50yrds a punt. See if he can be more consistent. He also almost made the team.

 

Actually I don't know why they don't do that more often. If it's a set play and our receivers know the QB is just going to hurl it they could have a guy ready to make a tackle if INT and if lucky our guy catches it. Can pin them deep in their zone depending where we have the ball. Although your QB could have 50 INT's for the season

 

I get that, nad once it all gets settled I think someone will jump, but during a season while the issues are still out there it's a pass for most owners.

Yes his dad was sick and dying, they kept him, now his dad is gone and Tomlin still decided to keep over another punter to was clearly better.

Tomlin also kept an inept OC to ruin his Young Franchise QB!!!

Michael Turk is available. He's an unproven rookie punter but that part doesn't matter. He had two uncles who played in the NFL (one was even drafted by the Steelers) a front office wet dream!

another knee jerk reaction. Harvin sucks, has since we drafted him. but HERE WE ARE, week 2, 2023 season, working out a punter. should have been ripped and replaced last year or offseason.
