it was boys playing men yesterday.

and child coaches vs men , also.

Tomlin is below the line, if you will. He and his pedestrian assistants.

I had hopes maybe for 11 wins this year. I had said that Sunday was a must win to make the playoffs. I hold to that. I doubt we get to 11 and I think we are sitting home yet again in January.

the standard is the standard continues....

But Rooney keeps it all in place!!!!

The positive is there is another game this week and we can bury this one in the past.

There's still hope we might just miss the playoffs again, great.

Agreed. Honestly, if they had lost by 20, but Pickett played well and they came through the game healthy, I wouldn't be concerned at all. I wasn't concerned by anything I saw from Pickett last season. Yesterday, however, was a different story.

That was one silly thing that I kept reading all week, but it made no sense at all. No, Sunday's game was not a must-win. It was as far from a must-win as you can get this early in the season. It was the best team they will play in the regular season and it was a non-conference game.

Now if you said that the Monday night game against the Browns is a must-win game, that would make sense. They are 0-1 and facing a division opponent. You could definitely argue they are in some trouble if they lose that one.

Monday night would not be a must win.....IF we had won yesterday

Yesterday set the wheels in motion......for another playoff-less year

You do realize they weren't going 17-0, right? Either you didn't or you don't actually understand the concept of a must-win game.

On a good note....., with the defense on the field so much, based on his week 1 performance, T.J. Watt will break the sack record in 7 1/2 games and will set an unbreakable record by season's end.
