I'm not sure what you were watching, but it's not as if Purdy lit it up. The single biggest advantage he has is named Kyle Shanahan.

I agree.Put Purdy in our offense and send Kenny to the Niners and the result is the same. Purdy is just a good game manager surrounded by very good offensive weapons and coaching staff. We just got beat by a better team today. Good thing is, we don't have to play them every week.

 

Ben could in his early years...2004-2010. He had some moments from 2011-2021, but was overrated for the most part. On several occasions Ben was a major disappointment....Jax and Cle playoff games.

 

We win ,and automatically he/she disappears for weeks at a time. If that is not a troll ....I don't know what is.

EVERYONE sucked on offense.

I do NOT think Kenny Pickett sucks, but the unit as a whole needs to get their $hit together because this performance was pathetic.

 

Ben threw more Tds in his very worst year than all of our Qbs combined have in a year, and a game, and didn't turn the ball over as much. LoL.

 

Yeah Ben could at least have a couple of breakout games in a 9 game span. Still waiting on Kenny…

 

Pickett today wasn't as bad as Ben in playoff losses to Jags and Browns. Those were horrific losses and epically bad performances. Chiefs loss was pretty bad too.

Yeah he looked like garbage, he missed a few open ones. Number 1 D's can make a lot of QB's look bad. Especially Pitts with Canada calling the plays.

 

Our D sucked balls today .. There was enough blame to go around for sure. The only players that deserved their game check was Watt and maybe Alex Smith. Thes rest were just plain horrible. This team was NOT ready to play week 1. That falls on coaching.

 

So? You make it sound like Ben was some kind of QB god. We're talking about the same guy who could post 12 TDs vs Colts and Ravens in back to back weeks but lose to the lowly Bucs with Mike Glennon at QB...and way-past-his-prime Michael Vick and the Jets. Don't even start with this crap. Pickett lost today....to quite possibly the best team and defense in the NFC with Brock Purdy at QB who led them to the conference championship game.
