Pickens late game

IO know he was frustrated, but they never showed what he did that drew the flag. I saw in the corner he was jawing with one of the 49ers while holding the ball, but how did that late flag end of being unnecessary roughness and not a taunting or PF?

I do appreciate that Pickens likes to be physical. He's a gamer.

 

49ers LB #57 took a cheap shot on him while he was lying on the ground by dropping his knees into his ribs. Pickens got up and shoved him so, of course they called Pickens for the retaliation.

That #57 got away with A LOT out there today.

 

Dre Greenlaw really did escape the wrath of the yellow laundry today. Quite a number of missed calls on him for certain.

 

There were some shots that really made me wonder what these guys were trying to do late game. 1 was a shot at Warren's knees that didn't need to be taken. I'm going to guess they wanted to have some nastiness on tape for upcoming teams. Given their injury history that might not be a good thing.

 

Yup. I counted at least three plays that should have drawn personal foul calls and the officials missed all of them.

 

That hold on the gunner for Pitt on the Punt return they took deep into Pitt territory was right there. I mean, it likely doesn't change much, but you have to call some of that. RT was doing what the Chiefs tackle was as well. It's hard to generate pressure when you're allowing tackles to line up that far back.

this kid better LEARN fast how to control his emotions. this one did not hurt. We will see when something counts, how he acts

 

I do worry about his attitude. I can see that attitude costing us 15 yards at a very costly time in a game.

 

me too, have stated that since I first started watching him last year. Something to watch for sure.

 

Yeah the baby crap is annoying.....But at the same time,you need to be trying to get this guy involved in the game early and often ...Fail on the coordinator

 

We have had problematic talented receivers dating back to Cowher... Is anyone really going to be surprised if Pickens becomes a headcase? As long as he backs it up on the field and gives us a few good years, then it is what it is. Hines Ward was an anomaly.

 

I get that he's a competitor, and very talented, but he's not going to get the ball if he's showing up his QB on social media.
