CB Dimitri Patterson released from Browns

Not saying he is or would set the world on fire, but lots of game experience, and would be a better option than Golden , or Victorian. Just saying if injuries start to drag, and there's a chance we make the playoffs hinging on this weekend?

 

I'd bring him in just to see what he could give us, shouldn't cost us a whole lot. Maybe some intel on their Defensive tendencies? And like Badboy212 said, he couldn't be any worse than Golden or Victorian. Victorian admitted that he didn't get into the game until the second half (or something to that affect).

 

So now we want rejects from the Browns, lol

I think Victorian got a little better as the game went on, Robert Golden can play, I'm telling you, he has talent. Lets see what we got in these guys, lets see if they have the game.

No but Willy Gay would've been nice! And I was a bitter enemy of Willy!!! But maybe it's a LITTLE unfair to come down so hard on Josh Victorian but when you're competing for a playoff spot I think you've gotta be a little harsh on a guy that can't get it done. If there's a better option you HAVE to take it.

 

As I recall, there was a recent week where the Browns were the only team in our division that won. <sarcasm\>

Blount, I defended Willie at first. Remember a lot of last second and splash plays. (Fumble recovery for 6 against the rats in the AFCG, Last second INT to win at Jax) and many more. After his first year at starter we all wanted to hang him. I stuck with him, then he came back and gave us two good years, or one good and one bad. Can't remember. When we let him go I was for it. In our defense he hasn't got any better. I think we got Willies best years

 

Steele, agree the Browns always seem to find good corners. I haven't seen that guy play but wouldn't sneeze at any corner right now

In coverage maybe, but in fundamental football (ie tackling) he was HORRIBLE!!

 

They just signed Justin King who they had in for a workout a couple of weeks ago.

Too late. According to Adam Schefter the Dolphins just claimed him.

 

Plus to get Patterson they would have to put a claim in for him...and also assume the rest of his contract (not sure what it was). I'm sure the last few weeks worth of money wouldnt have been bad but who knows. The Dolphins claimed him anyways so it really doesnt matter at this point.
