    This.
Vegas odds are usually close to "true" odds, but that is not the point. They set the odds to maximize their profit based on how people are betting, not to give an accurate likelihood of the game outcome.

That and they still got one of the best play callers/offensive minds in the entire NFL. Still no easy day at the beach.

Just because Stars go out doesn't mean there is a back up ready to make a name for himself.

Its the NFL bring your best game or be prepared to lose.

The fact he has a truth social account shows how delusional he is

    What a dim wit

I bet taking SF off of there really has the owner shaking

They got A LOT of talent on the team, regardless of if Bosa and Kittle don't play; they aren't referred to as the deepest team in the NFL for nothing.

True but they are much better with Bosa...Similar that what the steelers are with or without T.J Watt. The 49ers are only 5-10 without Bosa since 2019. Sure, almost every game he missed was in 2020 but last year Bosa missed the game against the Falcons and that was ugly for the 49ers defense.

Makes sense...he is the TJ Watt of their team and we all know how different we are without Watt.

I did not know the difference was that acute without Bosa. Tomlin said they are still preparing as if he is going to play.

It's all tied in with the Vegas betting lines. Think about it...

Hey guys, Niner fan here...Bosa and Kittle seem unlikely to suit up. And honestly, even with them, the 49ers tend to play poorly in their first games. Takes them awhile to get going and playing in Pittsburgh makes it that much tougher. I expect a Steelers win on the order of 28-17 or so. Have a good season! Cheers.

Thanks for the polite check in. Line is now fluctuating between 2 and 2.5 9ers. I'm a little surprised there isn't some movement from holdout/injury reports. For our sake, I hope you're right about SF slow start to season. Good luck this year, especially AFTER this game. :roflmao:

Why is it a must-win? It is a non-conference game. With the possible exception of the Bengals, this is the toughest opponent on their schedule. Just based on those two measures, it is the least must-win of any game on their schedule.

Jaguars looks to be a tough game... but agree with Bengals and 49ers are the top teams on our schedule as of right now.

I had never heard of Truth Social Account before.

Truth Social (stylized as TRUTH Social) is an alt-tech[3][4][5] social media platform created by Trump Media & Technology Group, an American media and technology company founded in October 2021 by former US president Donald Trump.[6][7][3][8][5] It has been called a Twitter clone that competes with Parler, Gab and Mastodon in trying to provide an alternative to Twitter and Facebook.[3][5][8][2]

Yes, please let us not forget the Tyler Huntley/Anthony Brown debacle, last year. Anybody who wants to make their case that Tomlin needs to go, I suggest you start right there. At home, no less.

Nothing is a must win, until it is a must win. The most important thing is the O and D to both get into NFL season form. Communication, attention to detail, limit mistakes. The starters have played little in preseason, we have a ton of new guys..especially on D. If Bosa and Kittle are missing it makes it a bit easier, but you still play your game. I'm hoping for a win, expecting a good season, but let's not think the preseason was anything more than an extended practice, this is where they earn their money.

Bosa has now signed his deal but I still can’t see him being ready to go on Sunday, maybe they ease him in with a few snaps here and there but he hasn’t done any full contact practice since last season.
