LSU/Florida St

I guess LSU doesn't have a field goal kicker. Since they've gone for it twice in 4th downs instead of kick a field goal. Stupid

 

I'm a Memphis Tigers fan. Norvell was a good coach for us there. I'll wish him the best and pull for FSU tonight.

Go LSU. I'm a SEC guy.....WPS ....in about 3 weeks I will be rooting hard against LSU, and all My Louisiana friends will not be My friends for a day. LoL

I'm surrounded by SEC fans. I love it. I have 3 cousins that are siblings. The oldest went to Ole Miss, the middle went to MissState, and the youngest went to LSU. The middle brother used to host Thanksgiving. THAT was a fun day. The EggBowl is so boring for me now.

Now they kick a field goal. They would be up by 9 if they just kicked every field goal they had a chance at. I don't get this go for it on 4th crap....unless You must to win the game.

 

LSU is 0/2 on 4th down, but also 2/6 on 3rd down.

 

Beat down by ACC team over a highly regarded SEC team

 

Coach Norvell has his team on the upswing. I did not expect FSU to have such a strong goal-line D. That is a rare thing anymore in college football. I expected an explosive offense, that has been his calling card.

I was disappointed in Coach Kelly's post-game comments. It reads to me that he put the blame on his players for not playing 4 quarters. True or not, the HC has to absorb blame for any loss and give credit to the players for a win. Not a good start for LSU all around. I think they will bounce back strong though.

 

All that say this will be very very quiet when the SEC holds up another national championship trophy. LoL
If I was LSU I would fire the coach. He had many chances to go up by 16 points in this game ...by field goals, and instead choose to go for it on 4th down. He is to used to playing weaker opponents at ND. Dark Horse of the season. Texas A&M. Remember You heard it hear 1st.

 

1st....I believe I have heard that every year I've been on this board.
2nd...Texas barely beat Rice. They are going to get beaten by Alabama this Week. Texas is not the best team in texas....Texas A&M is.

 

SEC beats each other up, they have Alabama and TN back to back, then Ole Miss a couple of weeks later, but then the mighty Abilene Christian....why in the heck does the conferences allow this non-sense??? I get a warm up game..or even 2, the smaller schools get paid well to get clobbered, but at that point in the year if you are trying for national recognition you play your conference or another team from another power 5. Every team who does this should automatically lose 5 spots in the poll, lol.
