It would be nice to get Adams back. It's no coincidence that we were running the ball much more effectively when he was healthy.

That's it in a nutshell. When there's a large gaping hole to run through Mendy's your man but how often do we see that with our OL ? I've never been a Mendy fan but with that said if he starts Sunday and has success then they need to run him as long and hard as they can. This team needs to get the running game going again to have any chance at post season play and I could care less which back they use as long as it works.

I'm not all that excited about Mendy starting this sunday, based on his performance this year I dont see where he is going to turn into Adrian Petersen for this game: Fact is, this game will define the steelers season, which has been pretty sloppy this year, the defense is really bad, and this offense cant put anybody away so it looks pretty bleak right now, and the next game will be the clowns superbowl so it aint gonna get any easier even if they get a close win this sunday....

Mendy will be playing mad to prove a point to Tomlin so hopefully he does a great job.

I agree. Max has done a decent job in pass-pro but he's God awful in the run game. Beachum has done a nice job on the right side. With that said, I don't think there's any chance they sit Max. So if Adams does come back and is healthy I think they sit Beachum. A mistake in my opinion. As for Mendenhall, I think he get's the start this week.
