King is a solid veteran and former first team All-Pro. He burned us a few years ago with a 75 yard punt return for a TD in a game we lost by 3 points. This probably means so long to James Pierre.

I'd feel better, but they may go with what they have and bring back Muse or Kwiakoski if one or both clear waivers. Then again possible PS for all of the above and bring Gentry back, lol.

 

King didn't make the roster because of the other defensive backs. The Texans have a ton of young guys in their secondary, and they want to keep it young or younger so that they can develop talent, whereas King has already hit his ceiling.
