You're correct he wasn't awful, he was freaking horrific. I've been watching the Steelers since the early 1960's and he is the worst offensive lineman I have ever seen. He plays like he is wearing roller skates getting continually driven back into the runner or QB. His snapping the ball at center is worse than any High School kid I've ever seen. The fact that Khan got a 6th round pick from this bum is an absolute steal.

 

I think most who are regular posters here would agree. I think most wanted the kid to do well, but he did not do so. A couple of years ago that Sutton kid from some place in Missouri was drafted in the 6th, Steal of the draft, balh blah. When he was cut some on other boards I frequent were moaning, bug mistake, again, blah blah. translating from college to the NFL is very hard, harder when you are drafted higher than you should and forced into a new position. He tried, they tried..it did not work. Business and life go on.

 

This is why You never take a project higher than 4th round. To many solid players still on the board. Just think Indy just took one in the 1st round(project).

 

On this I disagree. The draft itself is a huge gamble. Kolbert had some gems, sometimes in the later rounds, Like any other GM he had his misses, for Omar to get anything out of that miss is a win, we could have just cut and counted it as a loss...so we win for losing lmao

 

After last week's game I got on NFL.com to read about the Steelers win but their headlines were all about how electrifying Anthony Richardson was in their game. The article went on and on about how fast he is and how far he can throw the ball. Buried deep in the article was his stats for the game 6-17, 73 yards, 0 TD's and a fumble.

Cowherd was trying to equate the Trey Lance thing with Purdy. You cannot say they won, at least on skill, They are OK as a franchise and backed into a possible long term QB, but look at the possible future players they gave up for that one mistake.

You are not stupid...so don't try to act dumb. They drafted Richardson on nothing but projection. On his Hight, weight , speed, and how far He could throw. He played on a pretty good Florida team, and sucked. How many Qbs You know get drafted in the 1st round after sucking at a big college???
