I think it will be more....Last year in the 3rd preseason, the starters on both side of the ball had played the entire first half...Maybe it will not be the case this time but it will be more that yesterday,I am sure

    Second.

Hopefully Porter Jr plays the entire game this time. Tomlin did state he pulled JPJ early to have him ready up for Thursday. Hopefully JPJ can play the entirety of it.

Part of that depends on how well they play

They have a long layoff between Thursday's game and the opener against the 49ers, so there is plenty of time to rest everybody.

Porter Jr doesn't need to play the entire game with a bunch of scrubs.

They should handle it like they did in the Bills game, only play the starters a couple of series.

Given how he has missed one game... I would say he needs all the reps he can get. Leave no stone unturned there.

Given how Tomlin has been on Record in stating the Starters will play, I would imagine that the entirety of the 2023 Rookie Class shall as well. Still want to see more of Darnell Washington but given how well Kendrick Green has held up... I doubt Washington's receiving opportunities will be as abundant for the finale as I would like.

Broderick Jones though will have a big test this week. Zach Harrison has been doing very well thus far in camp and also possess some seriously elite tools himself. Should be a good battle between the two.

    Sure

As long as there is no intention to have him start the first game

Then he can get some experience a little each game

I think he's going to be playing a lot and possibly even starting Week 1. Maybe Peterson just needs some more time to get in the flow, but man, he looked slow on the outside against Buffalo.

I will believe it when I see it, but it would be great to see Ogunjobi and Herbig. I'd be happy if we never see Norwood in black and gold again.

The most I would play him is the first half, he's coming off of a minor injury, and he doesn't need to play the whole game.

    I mean....

If the idea is to get him behind the 8 ball in terms of the speed of the NFL, by all means. Otherwise, he has to play. Regarding the injury, Tomlin already made it a point to take him out early against Buffalo. Same goes for Benton; playing only 5 Special Teams snaps.

I doubt he will elect to sit either man for one half. They need the experience; competition being NFL Hopefuls or otherwise.

we are going for the undefeated preseason. play them the whole game. this is the most important thing for the team. since we will go undefeated and finally shut down the 72 dolfish dynasty once and for all. only the total undefeated season start to finish will show the world how really good we are.:cool:
