I have never listened to his podcast. I think I am much happier that way.

So far Moore has looked good, but like the rest of the starters....we haven't seen very much game tape

That might be because Eli really wasn't all that good....but that is another debate for another thread....

If I was Ben and they put Green in to replace my best friend and HOF caliber center, I would be pissed off as well.

Exactly. Ben could be an asshat at times, but if anybody understands how bad Kendrick Green is as a player...it is Big Ben that had to play with him as his rookie starting center going up against starting defenses filled with Pro Bowl players. People were wondering why he got rid of the ball as quickly as possible? He is getting tossed around by third string defenders. Imagine how bad he was against quality starters around the NFL. He was getting tossed into Ben's lap that entire season.

Those were Ben's knees and his body getting pounded. Then he had to listen to everyone saying he's done. He can't play. What's wrong with Ben? Sure Ben was a diminished player at that point, but imagine being him and still trying to succeed, and this is the guy that they put in front of him at his age after losing much of his mobility. And he still led them to a decent record. Let that sink in.

I know I would be pissed if that's who the coaches gave me to protect me and snap the ball to me too. 15 games with that in front of the HOF quarterback? What an injustice. You think he was pissed at what the team did to him? You bet your ass he was, and so would anyone here if it happened to them.

I heard him say on his show a few months back that originally he kind of wanted Kenny to fail but he has since wished him all the best.

I saw it too. What's he gonna say with Kenny sitting right there? He also took a smug parting shot at him by saying he didn't intend that pass for Harris against Baltimore. I honestly have always defended him but didn't know how much of a d**k he was until I watched a few of his pod casts. Dude thinks he's God's gift to everything.

It isn't news that Roethlisberger is a jackass. This goes back to him fighting with Cowher about riding his motorcycle to practice. If I remember correctly, Cowher sent him home early over it the day he got in his accident. There were also many reports of his boorish behavior in local bars and restaurants that came out after the two rape accusations. He may have rehabilitated his image with many people, but I never bought any of it. He was a hell of a quarterback, but he's not a good guy.

I actually don't mind his podcast. I guess you just have to take his ego with a grain of salt.

I don't think he will hold out. Might be a last-minute signing but I suspect he will sign.

I Was there as well. Had a great time. I’m not gonna go into breakdowns but 53 is as bad if not worse than we already knew. Sucks but true. Good Lookin rooks and depth.

like what I’m seeing even if it’s all ‘nilla. Just a good night in the stadium. I think we’re gonna have fun this year but no bold predictions from moi hahaha

I listened to the podcast when he had Heath Miller on as a guest. That one was pretty good. No desire to listen to any of the others though.

The podcats aren't bad because I like to hear from past and present Steelers. You just have to factor in that Ben is going to celebrate himself several times, lol.

I have not seen it in a while. The best were when he has former teammates on. Fun hearing the stories.

Was listening to Cincinnati sports radio a couple hours ago and they were talking about how they have no solid back up QB behind Burrow and they mentioned Roethlisberger as a possibility. Made me laugh. No way Ben would come back as a Bungle.

Fair enough, just don’t accept the reports about them. I’ve watched them all, then read the stories written and think, what did I miss? Sound bites don’t always do it justice, you have to take the conversation in its totality.
