Just remember the Steelers play their best with their backs up against the walls.

i thought their backs were up against the wall the last 2 weeks? sure they are not mathematically eliminated and i still believe they control their own destiny as lame as that might be, but this team is just not playing very good.

lol just trying to lighten up the mood :(....anyways Im telling yall Ike Taylor is more important to our defense than you think. More important than Polamalu or Ryan Clark.

Troy is nothing out their plain and simple. The D has very if any turnovers and can not cover the quick pick pass when the are 5 yds. behind the receiver.

their biggest problem right now is that they are down to their 4th and 5th corners.

Troy is not the Troy we are used to anymore. Woodley has done nothing. Harrison had the strip fumble, but lets be honest he is not who he use to be either. Keisel and Hampton are both getting old and dont have much positive affect on defense anymore.

this defense is old and slow. Timmons and Clark are by far their best defensive players.

i like the fact that on offense we are seeing DeCastro, Beachum and Adams when he was healthy. now i know a lot of that has to do with injuries, but we will never know what we got unless they play. its time for Hayward and McClendon to start and Worilds should start also for either Harrison or Woodley. maybe they should rotate Harrison and Woodley on oneside and let Worilds play the otherside.

the seaon is not lost, but if they keep going down the same path it will be.

If this were truly the case, I think we'd have been lighting up opponents for a few weeks now.

Actually, the Steelers play their best when they are not shooting themselves in the foot which has been done during nearly every game this season.

They must not have any feet left by now.

I love my Steelers, but there have been more embarrassing games this year than I remember for a long time, and you're right, a lot of it is due to them causing their own problems.

You nailed it right there about the D. I was commenting yesterday during the game that our D has become just brutal to watch anymore. We were consistently rushing 4 and getting ZERO penetration - absolutely pathetic. (And before someone attacks, I'm not blaming this loss on the D either..just making an observation)

Their backs have been against the wall since Ben was injured in the KC game. They haven't played anywhere near their best football since then.

    This.

Yeah - they've lost 4 out of 5, and just now their backs are against the wall? LOL
