Always? Outside of last year he’s only had one other season where he’s missed significant time.

.... not surprised given his injury history. However, this also means that Patrick Peterson might get an extended look at Safety should Elijah Riley continue his upwards ascension to being the Slot CB. I still have my doubts about the options but Riley has done well thus far.

Within the same time, this also means the team will get to see more of Joey Porter Jr. For me, the sooner he sees the field, the less opposing WR1s will throw 100+ Receiving Yard parties on the secondary.

Last year he broke his wrist on a tackle. That's a freak thing not an ongoing injury history.

Kazee does have a history of injuries. So does Keanu Neal. So does Minkah. The Raiders released Muse due to a toe injury. I think most NFL players have a history of injury. It's the repetitive injuries that are worrisome. Anthony Miller has a shoulder issue that keeps dislocating on him. Multiple surgeries have not fixed it. THAT is an injury history to be cautious about.

No one will remember this injury in November if he's fine for the regular season, so no big deal.

This is good to see. A walking boot isn't always a sign of disaster. It allows the wearer the ability to get around without crutches or with the help of crutches while taking the normal strain of walking and running off tendons and ligaments. That allows strains in those soft tissues to heal more quickly, even if it is only worn for a week or two. Sometimes, that's all a minor strain needs to fully heal.

Some players shouldn't practice that much.
I know it's football and injuries are going to happen, but all this technology they have should be able to predict who is at risk.
Like that CB we had that couldn't make it out of practice for 3 straight years.

Kazee and Minkah are as good a safety duo as there is in the league. Kazee lacks consistent availability.

If he lacks availability he isn’t good

    Availability is first and foremost

Yea that makes perfect sense. Technology should have told us not to draft a guy with a healed acl from one leg, because his other leg would crumble while walking on the practice field. The logic is perfectly insane, I get it some guys seem to be more injury prone, but the odds of sustaining a more significant injury have to go up in a game situation.

Come on, he was the best Edmonds on our team, and the second best in the league.
