I still believe that the Steelers need to learn something from the Pats as much as I hate them. The Pats are a well trained team. When they go into a game they go in with a killer instinct and that is what this team needs to develop. Probably to late for this year but next year for sure. Each game has to be played like a professional team. You can't blame the coaches for fumbles. Pro's know how to carry the ball and when to tuck it in tight, this team does not do that as we all have seen all year. Ben needs to stop trying to thread the needle all the time. The OT interception, why not go with Miller it works just about all the time. Their just is not enough drive on this team to be playoff material and hopefully that will change next year and if it doesn't then the Rooney's need to look into the problem that they have as owners.

I agree they need to be more aggressive but when you lose close games like we do it prevents you from being aggressive. How many times have you seen us just ride a lead and hope our defense bails us out? If we had a 10 point lead in a game with 5 minutes left and the ball we would run it three straight times and punt.

i think they were over aggressive in several phases of the game today and got burned by it. Over aggressive about the run and Murray rattled off some nice runs, over aggressive on punt returns and Brown fumbles, over aggressive on passing it and throw some stupid balls out there. They need controlled aggression not the loosey goosey stuff they have been showing.

The punt return wasn't being overaggressive it was a poor showing of ball security. I'm not going to get mad at the players for trying to make a big play, but that doesn't mean fundamentals go out the window.

Over aggressive gets fines and suspensions, at least it does for the black and gold.

While I agree that it wasn't and overaggressive play it was Brown trying to be aggressive that caused him to lose focus and forget his fundamentals. You get in a tight situation like that you tuck that ball in and secure it, you don't wave your arms out there while trying to get a few extra yards. Of course it is all academic at this point had he not fumbled and broke it for an even longer gain we wouldn't be talking about it now.
