Why even bother with returns.

- A good return to the 50 leads to a 3 and out.

- or there is a block in the back

- or there is a A Brown melt down

 

Cowher at some point would have done just that. Just catch the ball.

 

Where is the special teams coach when our punt return guy (A brown) 60 yards away from the line of scrimmage and then he can't get to the ball because he lined up too deep. The coaches should be screaming at him to move up. This is little league stuff!

I've been a huge advocate of Tomlin being replaced but we know the Steelers won't do that. We got rid of Arians so hopefully after how poorly the special teams have played this year we will get a new special teams coach. The misplays and penalties are ridiculous.

 

The special teams coach will be fired come seasons end.

Where is the Haley going to Arizona rumors coming from? What has he done to make anyone thing he's ready for another head coaching job?

 

Agree, hasn't done enough to warrant consideration of a head coach again, although he was okay at Arizona as a OC!

 

Yeah it's just a rumor about Haley but it was from LaCanfora of ESPN. He really doesn't have any crediability but even if they are swirling around, it does make the players think.
