    and why not...

    911 for injury prone players

2-4-1 for players with a DUI

0 for players with low Wonderlic scores

3-2-1 for players approaching the end of their careers

    and why not letters too?

    B.C. for really old players

M.T. for players that only want a non-losing season

Peterson had Washington on his podcast awhile ago and they talked about this briefly. They said the organization wants to keep with the tradition of positional jersey numbers. I don’t understand the decision at all, I’m sure people would’ve bought up Washington 0 jerseys or Patterson 2 jerseys. You’d think money would win.

It’s kind of a dumb rule though… they allow WRs to wear numbers in the teens which isn’t traditional either.

And to everyone saying Ingram wore 8, cool maybe they made the rule after that, or made some sort of exception for him. Who knows.

    70,75,32 retired

    12,58,59,47, 43, 7, 36, 63, 52 seem pretty left alone from here on out...

    Exactly

50s we’re all used when Ingram was here even Spillane was stuck in the 40’s

I was going to add that exact thing initially but,

didn't want Benny to spend so much time on that many digits just before school starts.

The idea that this is no fun is as dumb as Claypool saying they should play more music at practice WTF

See what that attitude did for him

This would be like telling the Attorney Partners at Dewey Cheatem and Howe LLC they should have casual Friday

What is with all the WR Hate.

Both Swan and Stallworth are in the Hall of Fame, yet nobody seems to have a problem with players wearing their numbers?

Yes, I would much rather see a Steelers Rookie get the number, than some other player just wanting to change his number mid-career.

I mean there should not be a single former Steeler coming forward to complain about Darnell Washington wearing his number 0.

How long ago has it been since the played, and how long where they out before they were voted into the HOF??? Been over 40 years since they played, and for example took Swann about 20 years to get into the HOF. Think about this stuff. Example 43....everyone, and their grandparents knew Troy was going in , and soon....just like Ben.

Remember the 00, I believe Jim Otto C for the Raiders, and Ken Burrough (?) WR for the Oilers wore it about the same time period.
