We will win next week because I am going to be there. We then beat Cleveland. Ravens lose to Giants next week and Bengals playing for pride and hoping we lose to the Browns playing at the same time beat Ravens week 17. We win the division.

Not so far fetched. Just sayin.

    Flame away.

Is a very possible outcome....of course only if Antonio Brown doesn't fumble away the game again.

The only problem I see is Baltimore losing to the Giants at home. It would mean they would have lost 3 straight at home. When was the last time that happened?

A very possible outcome. The Ravens are nowhere near as good as the media would have us believe. (Course, neither are we)

Please pass over what your smokin or drinkin on. We are not as good as others may think we are. We are the new Browns, we are the new Bungals, we are the new Cardinals, we are the new joke and clowns in town! We let the freakin Cowboys beat us! I'm sorry but this team sucks! The whole team is always hurt and made out of glass, we always blame the coches but the real problem is our players!!

is it possible? yes, but the Ravens MUST lose out and the Steelers must win out, no matter what.

    is it likely? absolutely not.

You need to find another team to root for if you can't handle a tough season. We still have a chance and even if we don't win another game this year, we're still the Pittsburgh Steelers. You know we will field a competitive team most years. Just take a break and chill with all the over the top ranting.

After 45 years of watching the Steelers all this talk of making the playoffs is making me sick. We are becoming a soft team and it starts at the top. Give Troy two days off this week from practice and he plays like someone who is afraid to hit. I actually saw him back stepping to not make a hit more than once. Tomlin is not installing the hard nose football we play and I now hold him accountable. We have become soft, when was the last time a hit was put on from our defense to remember. Our offense looks horrible and we have weapons that everyone was waiting to see this year. Our team is taking on the personality of Tomlin which is passive and a good match for the NFL.

I don't think we can due to tie breakers.

How can we be a hard hitting team when the new CBA only allows 1 padded practice a week if that. It's not just us, every team is soft. There are no physical teams in the league anymore, just look at the Ravens D this year. Just as soft as ours.

I did not believe this one gang, until I just ran it through the playoff machine on Espn. I still don't understand how the Steelers win a 9-7 three way tie, but...
Last week I compared this team to the 1984 squad, which beat good teams and lost to bad ones.

They too were 7-7 at this point, and won their last 2 games to win the division at 9-7.

So, I am calling on the spirits of Rich Erenberg, Weegie Thompson, Keith Willis, and Sam Washington to lead us the rest of the way. ;)

In 3-way division tie at 9-7, the Steelers would have 3-1 h2h record among Cincy and Baltimore w/ Balt 2-2 and Cincy at 1-3, Steelers would win tiebreak

    thanks truckin'.

I do see the Ravens losing next week, in fact I'd probably bet on it if I did such things. That team is in disintegration mode, and they were never that good to begin with. They should be 7-7 right now too, in fact, had 2 field goal attempts moved a few inches the other way.

The secondary was awful today but I expected that. Otherwise, I felt the Steelers played hard today and just lost a toughie.

I'm too exhausted to look up tiebreakers, etc. We make the playoffs IF we we win our last two, right regardless of what anyone else does, right???
