Jesus Christ. How may times. What is the point.

If you want to run safe patterns, throw it to Heath over the middle for 8 at a time.

Ben just doesn't have the arm strength for this throw. He's proven time and time again that he can't make it. And why would you throw the most risky throw in the playbook during that time. Unbelievable.

Maddox couldnt make the throw. O Donnell couldnt make the throw. No one does. I just don't get it.

Yeah, this one isn't on Wallace. Ben threw it inside instead of outside. Bad, bad, throw.

I agree. That play always seems to bite them in the ass at the worst possible time. I'm still trying to figure out why they stopped going to Miller. It was obvious they couldn't stop him, why not just keep throwing it to him until they can (see also: New England Patriots; Gronkowski, Rob)

I exchanged texts with a relative. The only text I sent this particular one was in response to his text saying, "How big of an idiot is A Brown."

I said, "yep, but I bet Ben throws his only pick right here."

    Next play. Well.

    Unreal.

The one he threw in Denver was at the LOS.

On this one, that was Bens fault, he didnt have it and shouldnt have thrown it.

Can someone though remove the WR screen from the playbook and tell Ben not to hang on to the ball EVERY frickin play? Those 2 sacks were killer.

I just posted the same damn thing. The out route only works when the defense is playing soft (like we usually do in the 1st half of games or there is the THREAT of a receiver going deep on a corner late. There was NO THREAT of a bomb pass in that situation.

And I love how we are now bouncing the bubble screen out to our guys. WHat, is that the alternative to throwing it backwards and off our TE's backside? Nice. F the sideline route and double F the bubble screen.

And why at :30 left in regulation are we not taking a shot DOWN the field. Take a chance. Who the hell cares.

We have a conservative head coach, no way we're going to take a shot down field with 30 seconds to go

Miller was killing them over the middle all game. why not just keep throwing it to him until the Cowboys show they can stop it?

are the Steelers going to be in the market for a new OC next year? not trying to start anything or blame Haley for this lose, but he doesnt seem to stick to whats working.

Yeah it is sort of like MLB managers changing pitchers every 2 batters late in the ball game - complete over coaching...trying to be too cute and overthink it.

The OC is responsible for drawing up the plays and the route tree. The QB is responsible for choosing which target to throw to. The OC can't make the QB target the TE, the OC can only design plays that gets the TE involved. Besides, you can't throw to one player 30 times, this isn't high school ball. The defence will pick it off. Perhaps Heath was doubled so Ben went elsewhere

And go ahead and toss the stuff'em run up the middle while you're at it. Man, that has made me crazy for a couple of years now.
