The steelers have only face the patriots in the Brady era once in the playoffs under Tomlin

thanks for pointing that out. Dispels one of the excuses people like to use in Tomlins defense. For the last decade he’s been pretty average to me, given the talent we’ve had. I think this upcoming year will tell us a lot

Yeah, @HeinzMustard@HeinzMustard could have at least misspelled a couple of the names to highlight the sarcastic humor.

True but for Ben,as much I appreciate what he has accomplished with us and he greatly deserves to be in the HOF, Mahomes is on another level....If he continues for another 5-10 years, Mahomes will be a top 5 QB easily in NFL history....He's that great.

But we shouldn't take credit away from Reid and the chiefs organization because they have Mahomes, since in 2017 before the draft, they knew Mahomes were special, which wasn't the case for at least 10 teams in the NFL in the 2017 draft(The 10 teams that had a chance to draft Mahomes and didn't draft)....The Chiefs had the 28th overall pick in the 2017 draft and they trade up to 10 for getting Mahomes and Reid deserve a lot of credit for that move since they knew he had a chance to be special.... They weren't lucky like the pats were with Brady in 2000!

See....You are on to something I've been preaching.
Ben had the likes of P. Manning, T. Brady, A. Rodgers, B. Favre, P. Rivers, D. Brees, S. McNair and E. Manning to face.
While Mahomes is in a tier by Himself....with a next tier of like maybe 2 guys...Burrow, and maybe J. Allen....then it's a whole other tier again...., and so on.

We forgot Jacksonville. AFC is loaded honestly so much stronger than the NFC is really. Philly and Frisco are very good after that????

Rodgers F Rodgers. Guy has 1 SB. He is growing old like we all do. The NFC was kind enough to take Brady off our hands, I'll take an old Rodgers in the AFC. Tua would worry me but guy seems to attract injuries. I too never understood the love for Watson. I'm far from sold on Pickett but do not fear the above 4 QB's. I could be in big trouble I see 2 of our first 3 games are against above mentioned QB's;) I guess we will have to kick Jets or Dolphins ass in Playoffs.

I loved watching Ben his entire career but I don't believe that he was on the same level as Mahomes. Even at his best.

I dunno man. Head to head is just one aspect of it. I think you got to look at records against common opponents, overall records, championships, playoff records, level of talent, did they live up to projections/expectations, etc. It's more than I care to do at the moment. But, it sort of feels like cherry picking a single stat to make a very broad statement.

Well You can't very easily say a coach is way better than another, and then they have a losing record to them....without looking any deeper....just from get go that doesn't make much sense. That would be like You whopping My A$$ 5 times we met, and then everyone tell You ....that I'm a awesome fighter compared to You, and then someone coming in , and saying....Well We must look deeper....what did He eat that day, was it raining, could he have had a cold. LoL....I would be embarrassed, and say....hey He whooped Me 5 out of the 7 times.....no excuses.

I was just listening to sports talk radio and the hosts were talking about who they would start their franchise with, Mahomes or Josh Allen. One host said Josh Allen because he can be used as a weapon in the run game more. Then even went on to say he would like to see what Mahomes would look like without Andy Reid calling the plays. While I do think Reid has a really good offensive mind, I don't know that I really agree with much of that take.

Mahomes is by far the best QB in the NFL anybody saying differently is pure ignorance. Josh Allen couldn’t carry his jock. Hell Josh Allen can’t carry Burrows jock!

I wonder about crap like that. Would Mahomes be Mahomes as a Pittsburgh Steeler under Mike??????????????????? How would Ben R. have faired under Reid???????????????

I do know if I owned an NFL team I'd take Mahomes over Allen every time. Allen is allergic to SB's.

    Mahomes
    Burrow
    Hurts
    Allen

Would be my top 4 QBs in that order. KP is around 20.

That's pretty close to how I would do it. I would probably switch Hurts, and Allen.....Only because of the shorter time for Hurts.

I am with you on this list sans Harbaugh. I can't stomach that. I feel like this era requires an offensive guru and the only way to get and retain one is to make them head coach.

Mahomes’ burrow hurt Allen? Is that why the Bills lost?
