Requiem for a Dream F'ed me up. I hated when the girl had to do what she did to score. I like Brolin and Imperioli but never have seen the movie. I assume they are in the American version.

 

Very interesting reason to miss IMO one of the greatest series ever. I believe that your neck of the woods has problems with that drug. I'm gonna assume you just stay away from movies or TV series that involved that drug but do you stay away from all shows where drugs are involved??? *

No....I just stay away from movies that glorify it. Yes it's bad in the South....I've seen many lives wrecked by it. Like I've said ....I've know 3 cooks in My life...., and it's the only drug I've seen that to support Your habits....You either , cook, sell, steal , or sell Your body to keep getting it. You can't live a normal life, and be addicted to it like a lot of other stuff.

 

So true. It is the only hard drug that eats you alive. I've know heroin addicts who live a normal life, problem is the MFer owns you. Life ain't so normal if you can't get. I've know guys 30-40 years on it.

 

Yea, I love Jennifer Connelly. That movie was amazing, but its not something i'd want to watch again. At least in Tusk, the kid was kind of a jerk and had it coming a little. Hahaha.

I never watched the American version. And I really like Josh Brolin. He's great in everything! The Korean one is just such a masterpiece to me.
