See the snare sounds fine here. I think the other one was either tuned funny, or was a crappy one.

 

Such a good album. I haven't listened to this in years.

 

Perhaps it was tuned to sound like a marching band type snare sound, which is what they were going for in the song?

And perhaps you dont like that sound because you had a bad experience, or even a fight with a marching band drummer when you were in high school. And you just decided you hate snares that do that particular sound because of it....

LoL. My last drummer was in the marching band in school, and I Loved the Guy. LoL

 

I met them on the original tour of this album. They opened for Metallica and the Justice tour. I also have this album signed by them when I met them. I wore this out.

 

$0.99 cut out bin 1st week of release. Not sure who returned it, but glad i found it.

I never seen them live, but I do remember listening to them in junior high. I also believe they had some songs on a few movies at the time.
