Freaking HATE not playing for 10 days. Now it's twice?

TNF sucks balls!

 

It is what it is, but I honestly dislike the marketing strategies being thrown around. It's the NFL and it will top most everything, but 3 games on Christmas? They were talking on sports radio that Nickelodeon is hosting a game???

 

I think the schedule sets up well. We have a lot of the West Coast games early on back to back weeks at Vegas and at Houston but there are a couple good things for sure. One thing is after their game in Houston on Oct 1st the Steelers get on an airplane one time between then and November 19th when they play in Cleveland assuming they even fly there to Cleveland still and that’s to play the Rams in LA on Oct 22nd. That’s a nice 6-7 week stretch of being at home and sleeping in your own bed which I think is important. Also, in December they are home the entire month other then a trip to Indy on December 17th and the game in Seattle on New Years Eve.

So that’s another nice stretch of being at home for a long time which should help the team. I like 10-11 wins looking at this schedule right now. I don’t know how a lot of people on how feel about this schedule but I like it and think it sets up very well.

Hate bye weeks being so soon.

 

Yep. Last year we had a late one so I expected an early one this season but week 6 stinks.

 

I don't like playing Monday night week 2, them flying to West Coast for week 3. Then flying home after week 3 for a few days before taking another long trip to Texas for week 4.

I do like having one of our West Coast games after the bye when our players are rested.

Although I don't care for Thursday night games it does help us that they're both at home. The short week is harder on the visiting team. We're also at home the week before both Thursday games, which helps in a short week.

 

Arizona twice?

 

The schedule screws the Steelers a few different ways. That early travel you mentioned is one. The short week before a trip to Oakland, then another trip the following week sucks. Giving them the bye so early sucks, too.

On the plus side, not only do they have those Thursday Night games at home, they are also at home the Sunday games before them.

 

It would be helpful if the head coach believed in jet lag too.

Don't mind Thursday night games as long as we get more primetime games. So seems we have 4 of them? Would prefer more but hopefully if they get better we can squeeze in another or even two.

 

Oops. Force of habit.

 

They'll keep playing games until Tomlin is assured of having another non-losing season record.

 

I'm only seeing 4 to 6 losses. Or am I being stupid?
