I've been following the Steelers draft since 1969 when Mean Joe was picked. This is on paper anyways the best Steeler draft I have seen since the 1970's.

You have to love pick #80 this year. I give Pick #80 A++

With Pick #80 the Steelers drafted both TE Washington and LB Herbig.

I decide not to create a new thread by delting it

    https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/04/29/2023-nfl-draft-team-grades

    Grade:
    A
    • Round 1: No. 14 (from Patriots), Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia
    • Round 2: No. 32 (from Bears), Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State
    • Round 2: No. 49: Keeanu Benton, DT, Wisconsin
    • Round 3: No. 93 (from Panthers and 49ers), Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia
    • Round 4: No. 132 (from Panthers and 49ers), Nick Herbig, LB, Wisconsin
    • Round 7: No. 241 (from Vikings and Broncos), Cory Trice, CB, Purdue
    • Round 7: No. 251 (from Rams), Spencer Anderson, G, Maryland
Analysis: The Steelers might have had the best draft of any team. Pittsburgh found a left tackle in Jones, who could prove to be the best of his loaded class. In the second round, general manager Omar Khan took Porter Jr., a legacy in the Steel City with a ton of ability. He should start as a rookie opposite Patrick Peterson. Later on, the Steelers took Washington, a hulking tight end at 6'7'' who should provide second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett with a large red-zone target. Finally, Herbig was a productive linebacker at Wisconsin. Look for him to be good depth and a solid special teams contributor.

I’ve had Directv since 1997. I purchased the Sunday ticket since 1997 and NCAA college when living in Raleigh 1997-2000. I have AT&T cell and internet; however, they increased my monthly subscription to $193. After two hours on the phone and being transferred from over seas to the US “loyalty” call center, I was given a whopping $20 discount. So I will be dumping the satellite Monday and signing up for YouTube TV

How do you like YouTube TV? I’m thinking of making the switch as well. Right now I pay Xfinity/Comcast $267/month for TV, internet and phone service. I can get Frontier 2 gig fiber for $100/month plus YouTube TV for an additional $73 plus $5 for their 4k package. We love the Xfinity voice remote and interface, but I think it’s time to make a switch.

I switched from Sling TV to YouTube TV (becsuse they have CBS sports and Paramount) and I enjoy it. I like the format of how things are set up. I got the sports package for an extra $10 and HBO Max for $14 which gives you HBO East/West shows along with the movies they add in the on-demand section. You then can download HBO Max app which you now have access to and you get the rest of the movies and TV series they have on there. I around $90. Much cheaper compared to cable.

Don’t have yt tv, but cut the cord almost two years ago and couldn’t be happier. It was odd at first and took about a week to get used to, but can’t imagine going back to comcrap. In the almost two years I’ve never had an outage. That’s a far cry from Comcast where outages were frequent and at times asininely long.

For me comcast has been super reliable. Maybe 2 outages in 3 years. That’s a big part of my hesitancy. Fiber is newly available in my area, so there’s finally a good competitor

lucky you. There were stretches where I would lose cable and internet daily. The straw that broke the camel’s back was an outage that lasted over a week(not the first either). Around day 8 I got a text from Comcast stating service had been restored. I got home from work that day and it was still out. Decided I’m done and dropped off cable box and router the next day.

if you or anyone dumps Comcast hang on to the receipt for returned equipment expecting a bill for unreturned equipment a few months down the road.

That's interesting. So here's how I approach things. I hate negotiating, so I just tell people what I'm willing to pay before they can say anything. I called about 9 month ago and said I needed a $ 40 discount per month to be happy. They didn't hesitate. It's good for a year so I'll have to call back. I'll try for $ 60 this time since I have leverage since the lost the Sunday Ticket. I love the DTV interface and I can't imagine Youtube being any good.

I finally made the switch to YouTubetv for $78/month. Much cheaper than Direct and no complaints yet. Plus, you don't need all the bulky equipment and cables and such.
