Let’s get Porter in here, the DBs need some nasty. Who ride?

I've been going back and forth.
    Don't trade down.

    Go for it!

I thought JPJ ran poorly at the combine with JPSr watching?! I thought I even heard JPSr saying Wow, in disappointment and disbelief?!

I'd go all Defense with the next three. Porter, Smith or Branch is a tough choice but I'd take any. Maybe Trenton Simpson or Tuli Tuipulotu at 49.

Teams possibly looking to add a rookie QB:
    Rams at 36
    Seahawks at 37
Raiders at 38 - Rumors were that Raiders were doing their research on Hooker

If I'm Steelers, I keep pick and take JPJ or Branch. We need blue-chip players not extra picks in the 4th and 5th round on players that may or may not make the team.

At 49 we go could trade up for Trenton Simpson or Sanders or sit at 49 and hope they fall or trade back. Siaki DT would be a nice pick up aswell for the DL. That would be a helluva draft for me.

Well, the Browns have found a way to not blow a first round draft pick. In fact, they won’t do that until 2025 or something.

What if someone offers a 1st in 2024 in exchange for the 32? We would be very lean this year but will set us up nicely for 2024

That may be the only way a trade back would be tough to pass on especially if it didn't make us fall back to far. But I think if a team were to do that they would have traded with another team at the back of the first round to get that fifth year option. But it takes 2 to tango when trading.

He ran in the mid 4.4’s but in training for the combine was running in the 4.3’s

They were disappointed he didn’t post something in the 4.3’s

Ah hell, just watched this and now want Porter selected. I have no idea if he's good or not but whatever. :)

I get it, Branch is seen as a "possible" fitzpatrick 2.0 and it's versatile. And hasa potential higher ceiling. However it's not a sure Bet.

Porter isn't versatile in other positions. However he is a lot more of a sure bet.

Also I think Branch might fall to 49.

Hopefully the Steelers don't overthink this and just Draft Porter at #32 and walk away.

Give me Porter at 32 and Benton at 49 and I’m good.

With my having 4, 5 and 6th. That's what worries me they'll try to trade the 49 pick.

Then they could possibly go through rounds 4-6 without any picks .

His speed is good enough 4.46, he isn't good at back pedaling, and he skipped drills like the three cone because he isn't good at stuff like that.
