yea... outside of the 4th round, gonna be hard for me to figure out who's the BPA without grabbing Pitt, Oregon, PSU or Oregon State guys. Jack Colleto from Oregon State is an ATH bound to get drafted by someone late just because of his ability to be a utility player in all three phases of the game.

I just go to the 7 round mocks that some of the sites like PFF or Walter Football have. They're not the end all to be all but they give you names that you can research according to what position you want to draft.

I'm old school. So Walter Football is my goto for draft analysis. Sometimes Walter's position rankings vary wildly with sites like PFF. But I think Walter Footballs easy to follow writeups are easier to follow than most of the other sites.

Youtube is your friend. All great GM's are big on researching the best players. Kind of Like when Coach Richard Gere was burning the midnight oil searching for the Mothman in the Mothman Prophecies. See below.

question for @Blast Furnace and the class....

Is the fantasy draft thing on hold for the day due to the holiday or we just truck on through it. I don't celebrate so it doesn't make a difference, but I'm sure the bulk of the class does celebrate in some fashion.

Good question. Let’s keep it going but without a clock. If people want to make picks go ahead. We’ll start the clock back up 6am tomorrow.

Voting is gonna be tough for the 4th Rd....
Since on the whole, we foolishly voted on a safety when the position is very well stacked.... We are in great need of a T, but there are no viable options left at this stage.... I also don't see us realistically taking a 5th consecutive defender, despite having an equally great need to get quality depth behind TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith... Near as I can tell though, the best available player at this point for us is yet another defender, so I will start the 4th Rd process with an official vote for

    Louisville Edge YaYa diaby

I nominate Carter Warren, T, Pitt. I'll withhold my actual vote til Monday when I see who else is available.

Yaya Diaby the Edge from Louisville. 6'3" 265 lbs and ran a 4.51 forty at the combine. He had the second fastest 10 yard split at the combine next to Nolan Smith but Diaby is also almost 30 pounds heavier. He combined productivity with his freakish athletic ability with 9 sacks for Louisville last year. So my vote is for Yaya Diaby.

I'm going to cast my vote for Carter Warren, T, Pitt. He is a third rounder or at worst an early 4th rounder, so I see good value here. And while I would love to take Diaby, and would if we had already taken a tackle, we need to address the offensive line.

    Yea.....Yea

    Diaby is my vote

    See what I did there?

Seriously, this to me is maybe our biggest need going into the season. We won exactly 1 game when Watt went down, because we couldnt generate a pass rush without him. I dont think its realistic we wait this long IRL to snag an outside guy but better late than never.

WR is also a big need. We only have 2 proven guys right now.....but I really like Diaby here.

I am voting for Bryce Ford-Wheaton, WR, West Virginia. There is no way the Steelers pick 5 consecutive defensive players.

Since this is the last Steelers pick I am going to extend the voting on this one. Clearly there are managers missing because of the holiday week.

I’m leaning towards Warren, no official vote yet.
