Rookie Replay on NFL Channel right now

Rookie Ben beats Brady.

I remember we beat both the Eagles and Pats back to back who both were on long win streaks.

Good times.

 

Living in the Philly market that was a great moment for me. I think both were undefeated and our boys ended that for both of them.

Now only if rookie Ben could have beat Brady in the AFCCG.

 

In the AFCCG I remember the call on radio from Bill Hillgrove, it was the first series, possibly the first play and ben threw and Int. You could hear it in his voice, this is going to be a long night, lol.

 

I don't know this for a fact, but I have always felt that if We didn't play the Patriots earlier that year ....we would have beat them in the AFC Championship game that year.

 

Great run by the Bus for a first down right before 2 minute warning.

 

I was a freshman at IUP that season. I lost my brother in ATV Accident about 3 weeks before that game (he was only 26, left a wife and two kids)
It was a hard time in my life.

A family friend took me to that game. Its one I will never ever forget. They paid for my ticket, and everything.

One a few times we ever got the better of Tom Brady in a game.

Too bad he beat us in the AFC Championship game later on that year.

But I try to return the favor now that I am older and go to lot of games if I can take someone who can't afford or get the chance to go, and makes me remember how special it is to go to games, if I don't go to all of them like I used to, going to 6-7 a year is still pretty special and I try to to take it for granted.
