4 year, $150 million. So now the others teams looking for a starter can trade for Rogers or sign Garrapolo. Or draft one.

I’ve heard that he’s an ok guy and all, but “saint” may be a stretch

    I’ll show myself out…

For a 31 year old, who has a %44 win percentage, and hasn't won one post season game.

    Sounds reasonable.

    I think it's 100 million guaranteed also.
I don't like Carr, and I wouldn't have done it, but they may have the best Qb in the NFCS at the moment.....don't know how long that last though.

I saw this...not drafting a QB in 1st round since 1971 ... how is that possible

This remains a franchise that has not drafted a quarterback in the first round since taking Archie Manning in 1971, a baffling statistic given the current landscape of the NFL and advantage conferred by having a starting passer on a cost-controlled rookie contract.

It’s not that difficult to keep the initial years hit very low when you are doing a new contract and both sides are willing to be flexible. They will be over this cap difficulty in a year or so and can keep restructuring the bigger contracts on the roster as they go.

They tend to draft better than most teams and are backing themselves to be able to put the pieces around Carr that way. I’ll bet they win a weak division in 2023

They had a solid defense last season now with Carr they are probably the favorite to win the division.

If we would not have gotten Pickett in last year's draft, Carr would have been a great fit this year in Black and Gold.

The team might have had a little to do with that. Teams win games, not individual players.

Jimmy garoppolo is complete garbage. How this guy keeps getting these deals is beyond me. Then again these are the same people that spent 2 billion on a stadium. Mark Davis has no idea what he’s doing.

Might have something to do with his 40-17 record. Been to a Super Bowl in the last 3 years. Would have been in two if he hadn't gotten injured this year. Yeah, he sucks the bag.

I wonder what the Raiders will do now at the #7 pick. If Richardson is still there do they take him because of Garropollo's injury history? Or they take an impact player from another position?

Mr irrelevant looked like a superstar on that team. Carr is a better qb. This is a step backwards.

More QB's on the move. Mariota now an Eagle and Minshew signs with the Colts. Rudolph still waiting for a call.

I had an acquaintance that was indicted in New Orleans for that

It also involved the mayor and a few other politicians
