This has to spell the end of Jack... Right?

Spillane, Bush, and Jack all combined to be less worth than $8 million last year.

It is weird to say but I am glad to see the entire iLB room basically gone. Love that Omar sees that they ****ed up with those players and aren’t afraid to start over.

Wish they would go after one of quality though. Not sure Holcomb and Roberts are the answer. Neither of them scream a sideline to sideline coverage type to me.

IF they believe in Robinson it should mean that, yes.

Roberts has had a steady but not spectacular career. He's a good enough athlete that Belichick had him play FB as well as MLB back in 2019.

Just saw that they cut Jack. I'm more and more disappointed that they didn't get Brown, but I think you are right. They are clearing space to lock up Highsmith. Finding a cheaper replacement for Jack is a part of that.

I can see them going with Holcomb, Roberts, and Robinson at inside linebacker and use those early picks on the offensive and defensive lines and cornerback.

Draft. LT, CB, ILB, DL are the big four needs to me. Then depth almost everywhere.

Gentry, Hassenauer, Scott would be the ones I would retain. Possibly Boykin.

Sims is a RFA so they will retain him.

Holcomb and Roberts are good signings, but not the caliber of ILB that Shazier and Farrior were. We'll see.

I was disappointed with Jack, no splash plays whatsoever.

They might be better than the combination of Bush, Spillane, and Jack, but that is a low bar.

He’s a thumper. They are focusing on stopping the run. Both Holcomb and Roberts hit hard.

Don’t know what the plan is for covering receivers and TE’s!

I was hoping he would be an answer after the Schobert debacle. He was playing hurt but man he underperformed. Funny both were from Jacksonville.

Please no more ILBers from Jacksonville!

Absolutely. A franchise left tackle at 17 then a stud Defensive Tackle at 32

Yep definitely. All while costing much less and without all of the hype.

Were Holcomb and Roberts both team captains?

I'd like to see us draft one of those speedy CBs from Maryland. It would make for a very fun day here lol.

I haven't been this excited about an off-season in a long time...

Have been generally disappointed for YEARS with the Run Defense! I understand that a lot of that is attributed to the DL but, let's be real...The ILB play has been total garbage since Shazier left!...

Now 2 new, young Athletic THUMPING LB's ...Bush and Jack both gone! Go into the Draft OT, DT, CB...First 3 picks! A new, younger, exciting D!

    * Just listening to NFL Network on XM radio... They're saying they're hearing a rumor that Bud DuPree is coming back, pending a physical...

    Lets Go!

This is why they have overhauled the position.

This group will be better against the run and hopefully provide some splash.

It's pretty clearly a draft pick here. Jack will get cut and we are going with Robert, Holcomb, Robinson, Draft Pick

Not a huge fan but I do like this Nickelback gem.

    Well, it's midnight, damn right
    We're wound up too tight
I've got a fist full of whiskey
    The bottle just bit me

Oh, that **** makes me bat **** crazy
We've got no fear, no doubt
    All in balls out

Roberts was team captain for the Patriots and won a ring there in the Superbowl against the Rams.

Well I’m cool with getting back to “not being run over at will all game” defense.
