This could be a guy to consider in the 4th round.

I wouldn't even mind Campbell in the 3rd. He's rangy at 6'5" and weighs 246. With his frame he could easily add another 15 lbs from the weight room.

He's the best Linebacker in the draft. A throwback 90s styled Steelers linebacker.

I'd probably take him at 49

He looks awful stiff. He moves great downhill inbetween the tackles, but looks like he's going to have a hard time in coverage versus anyone. Did a nice job on the play vs. OSU to sit in a zone and make a nice hands catch... but in a man situation he'd be lucky to get his hands on his guy before the safeties hit him.

Looks like Spillane with a bigger frame. Going to look good as a LB 3 in goal line situations or larger packages, and probably not going to be awful as a spot starter. Probably just a 2 down guy. Not seeing him as an every down starter.

I like him but probably not enough to draft him. He just has to many issues in coverage. I agree he is a Spillane type linebacker. I'd pass

He's a big ILB like Tremaine Edmunds, but he comes a lot cheaper :hehehe:.

That's why I said take him in the 4th round, the ILB class is weak this year.

I think there's only like one inside backer that might go in the first round. But if you look at the rankings people have them all over the place. Might be able to get a good one in round 4.

It is. I wouldn't be against taking him... I would much rather address ILB in FA again. Find someone good in FA and let them and Jack start this year with Robinson working in as needed. He either supplants Jack as the starter this year or begins 2024 as the starter. If he doesn't develop into a starter we can look to address ILB early in a later draft.

There’s a free agent linebacker who will be available who has 4.4 speed and the pedigree of having been a Top 10 pick. Should be cheap too.

Hey, we’ve had pretty good luck with linebackers named Jack so I’m in.

Well his combine performance definitely was not of a guy that is too stiff to play NFL ball. He's not a 4.4 blazer, but he's fast enough for his size and he had great lateral quickness numbers. I'm sure he just pushed himself up the board. If he's the guy we want, I am cool with it.

I liked him in the fourth originally but after his performance at the Combine that will no longer be an option. It would be hard to pass him up at 32 if he is there, I think he will be. Off Ball Linebackers don’t seem to carry the same value as a lot of other positions in the draft. He is everything Bush is not, Instinctual, Highly Productive and Big. Now you add the fact that he is plenty quick enough and has lateral agility especially for his size. Could be a nice fit for us that we have not had for a long time. The fact he tested well at the combine and his high production in college to me means he is at minimum a high floor guy and pretty sure bet. I don’t think he lasts until pick 49 because the class is fairly weak at ILB which as a result pushes his value up.

I think he's going to go too high to be an option. I wouldn't hate Simpson at 17. I think they would have to take him if he is there at 32. Sanders would be a fine option in the second round. I'm not a fan of taking any of the other inside linebackers in the first two rounds.

FA will tell the tell. I'm looking for a FA signing at Ilb.

Campbell's production on the field was unquestioned. It was is he athletic enough to play at a high caliber in the NFL, he proved that yesterday beyond a shadow of a doubt.
