I think Swann sums up what the fans are feeling with Wallace with this quote " if you think you're good enough to hold out, that is a catch he needs to make. If he wants to make the kind of money the big time NFL receivers make, he needs to make that play."

Can't wait for 2013 when that mutherfugger is not wearing Black and Gold. And I could care less he held out, Hines did and I was cool with it. Wallace appears to have the persona I don't associate with the Pitssburgh Steelers and I think that's why we're struggling. We need team players who will sacrifice for the team, not worrying about their next contract. Get the F out 17!

Love hearing that from Swann. He's still one of my favorites, and Wallace better get off of his high horse and take Swann's very good advice.

i've really noticed something about wallace lately. he's not a very good hands catcher. he likes them into his body. this never usually bodes well for a receiver.

i like wallace and mendy but things change and attitudes change with time. i believe both will be gone, but i have to ask the same question i always do. Where are all their TD's going to come from?

these two have been reponsible for most of our scoring over the last few years. wallace has more TD's then our other two receivers combined. dwyer and our backs have willie parker stats. lots of yards, very few scores. where are our TD's going to come from?

we know they seldom play rookies , so draft picks won't produce that kind of scoring. heath is covered more and more. we don't have a feared run game. i don't know?

can someone already here increase their output by that much. one someone isn't enough to do it either.

this will be an interesting off season for sure. swanny, instead of pointing things out , come in and help. please.

I've been saying the same thing for quite a while now, and nobody is replying in this regard.

In the 2011 season, Mendenhall and Wallace combined for 17 of the 36 TDs the Steelers scored. That's almost half.

They both consistently score more TDs than any other three athletes, at their respective positions.

I'm going to put faith in Haley that he can figure out a way to produce with Brown/Sanders at WR and Dwyer/Batch at RB... or something like that.

Ideally, I would love for the Steelers, Mendenhall and Wallace to work this out. I like watching those guys play in... BLACK AND YELLOW! BLACK AND YELLOW!

    :lolol:
