Head Coach sb Success

I looked up most super bowl wins by head coach. Belicheat holds the record, but I put an asterisk beside that due to his cheating ways (imo). He may win another, but without Brady maybe not. Second on the list is Chuck Noll with 4. The only others close with 3 are either deceased or no longer coaching. Reid only has one and may get another this year, but he likely can't continue coaching, even though he has Mahomes. The only coach I see on the horizon likely to catch Noll is Shanahan with two. He is only 44 years old and I wouldn't mind if he caught Noll as head coach for the Steelers.

 

Kyle does not have 2 Super Bowl wins as a head coach. His dad Mike does and is well beyond his coaching days.

I just wanted to start a thread about a coach who can lead the Steelers to multiple super bowl victories. Not many of those coaches exist. Shanahan currently looks to be the ONLY one on the horizon.

 

His Dad was the HC in Denver. Kyle has never won a SB as a HC... His Dad has.

The task at hand remains the same. There are very few victorious repeat super bowl head coaches in the modern age. I'd like for the Steelers to find the next one. You have to admit that Shanahan can put together a good team AND a good game plan. Is that too much to ask for from your head coach?

Mike Shanahan won 2 Super Bowls with John Elway in the late 90s. Kyle, his son, has never won a Superbowl.

I'd rather Tomlin catch him cause unless the Steelers have a total meltdown Mike coaches the Steelers until he decides to retire.

Whats more amazing ihe is only 44..which would mean if it was him...he was only 19 or 20 when he won those SB's.
