You know, I was just about to start a new thread about whether we should pick him up for insurance if we could afford him. Now, never mind. If Ben goes down we're finished.

Shoot, I was hoping our guys would have the defensive field day that the Patsies had against Palko. That's alright, I don't think Orton is going to have a fun night Sunday either. :hehehe:

Does anyone think that they are just getting Orton for the backup role?? It is wed, and yes i mean they could still play and start him on sun, but I just think that they got him for backup this week, and maybe start him next week... I mean unless they wanna do him like Oakland did with Carson and rush him in. But, hey who knows..... we still gonna come out of KC with hopefully no injuries and with the big W

I don't think he will be ready to go by Sunday night, but it will depend on how similar KC system is to Denver. I think we will see Palko.

Orton's an established QB who had an amazing year last year. Palko's played in one game, and how many points did he put up? They'll play Orton, and even with no practice he will be a lot better than Palko. This game just got harder. We should still win, no doubt, but it won't be a walk in the park anymore.

We'd be finished anyway, Orton wouldn't be leading this team to the SB. Unless you have a diamond in the rough, most teams are finished when there starting QB goes down.

I agree with you. Even if Orton does play he'll have hardly any time at all practicing with the team and the plays. I just hope the defense turns the corner for the rest of the season and we start building up the turnovers.
