If McCarthy takes Dallas and wins a ring I would consider him better than Tomlin. No I don’t want that to happen lol

Based on some of the foolishness posted here either he’s a board member or there are board members who listen to him and can’t think for themselves

Dallas beat a poor Tampa team and that's that.
    Things get harder now.
And don't forget Prescott has 3 straight games throwing ridiculous pick 6's.

But McCarthy has managed the team well, despite ownership.
They have provided him some weapons and he has a good OC.

So where does that put him on the evolutionary poll?
    1. He did a crap job keeping the Packers "fresh"
    2. He does have a Super Bowl ring
I guess he could climb a few rungs should he get another.

    Who cares.

The last thing I want to see is either the cryboys or Rice a Roni winning another Lombardi especially the cryboys and that dolt Jones.

I do feel that Rice a Roni will beat the cryboys. Then it's up to the eagles although Rice a Roni is a powerhouse.

It's not just about playoff wins. He's had 4 years with a losing season. And he's been on two teams.

When green bay had him kick rocks, lafeur took them to 3 consecutive seasons with being first in the division. With one year losing in the division, the other two the conference.

So unless he wins a ring this year, he won't be regarded as on the fans respect level as Tomlin.

Hasn't he had Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and Dak Prescott as qb's? A Hall of Famer, a 4 time Player of the Year, and, well, Dak. Playing most of his time in the NFC North, with Detroit and Chicago? And, up to this year, the NFC East, with the Giants and the WTF?
And people say Tomlin underperformed with Ben.

Again they just beat a team with a worse record than us.....That We beat with a Rookie Qb playing His 2nd, or 3rd game ever, Trubisky, and without TJ Watt. Please!!!!!
Congratulations Dallas, and The bullfrog Mike McCarthy on such an awesomely amazing win. LoL

Well, would we rather have a coach with 1 SB win and 11 playoff wins who’s team in the playoffs as of today and will play this weekend, or…

have a coach with 1 SB win and 9 playoff wins who’s team is at home contemplating keeping Canada as OC and edmunds as safety?

I like it when we don’t compare ourselves to an inferior organization.

I totally agree with that! I can’t stand Jerry jones.

but somehow, his coach has better metrics than rooney’s coach, even though Rooney is theoretically the much better owner.

Could it have anything to do with two hall of fame quarterbacks? No. Nevermind. That’s just crazy talk

Hmmm..a couple of posters come to mind..though they have been accused as being just one...so the possibility is certainly there. BTW I am the only one with a direct contact to Art. not the Art...but the Art Art let a fart and blew it all apart...our relationship stinks.

Both are good but not great coaches. A lot goes into the equation- ownership, assistant coaches (we are cheap) , personnel decisions ... I would say about even.

Pretty sure Tomlin had a HOF QB his entire career as well. Minus this season, which far exceeded expectations thanks in part to a very weak NFC south otherwise we are sub .500 without a doubt.
