2nd worst draft pick of non playoff teams + same coaching staff

A) Top 5 pick and new OC


or


B) Pick #17 and another year of Matt Canada and this terrible coaching staff. That doesn’t want to show up until their job is on the line.



Another loss everybody is glossing over in our Mike Tomlin Super Bowl. Is he saved the job of his friend Matt Canada. Another year with this idiot at OC. We’re stuck in purgatory!! This mediocrity will never end.

 

The first pick of the second round too....And this is not a lock yet that Canada will be back,Tomlin did not confirm that today in his press conference.....

 

The first pick of the 2nd round is meaningless. Only top 5 picks are any good.

 

My question is.....why isn't Canada fired yet???

As I said in the other thread, if your strategy actually worked, the Browns would be a top 3 team. They've had high draft picks for years and they still suck. Instead of playing to improve and win, they keep getting higher draft picks (they aren't tanking, though), and they keep sucking.

 

You don't think we will see any carryover into the 2023 season for going 7-2 down the stretch.

Watching Kenny go from throwing 3 Interceptors in a single game twice to throwing only 1 Int in his last 8 games has to be a game changer for the 2023 season.

If they had a top 5 pick that would've most likely meant Pickett struggled, I will take pick #17 and the progression of Pickett.

 

He bragged and crowed Saturday night about right he was about Josh Dobbs at halftime. He knew all along that Dobbs was a great QB and was going to lead the Titans on a deep playoff run. Then when Dobbs crapped the bed and choked like a dog in the second half he disappeared from the message board like he never heard of Dobbs.

The roster, coaching staff, and coordinators should look totally different next season.

Steelers will be on their couch this weekend mad they aren’t in the playoffs. Not happy about a pointless 4 game winning streak.

Neither as Canada will be gone and not sure we could do right at pick 5 .. We seem to pick better around the middle of the round...I think Pouncey and Decastro came from there if I remember correctly ..

 

It’s not trolling. It’s a valid concern I made all year. I know it sucks to see me right but this board should be use to it by now.

So we can draft well mid round and not with a top draft pick? That makes 0 sense.

We don’t get top picks because we’re stuck in purgatory with Tomlin Super Bowls. Not good enough to win it all and not bad enough for top talent. That’s what barely above .500 gets you. Mediocre talent, roster, and results.

Tomlin will give Canada another year because he is stubborn. Plus he is trying to build a coaching tree.

I think Coach T had one of his best seasons. This team was sunk at one point.
