I truly appreciate your effort to find some positive. I guess I'm just not there yet.

 

Beechum is playing better. I wonder if Gilbert can play guard. Starks should be our left tackle next year.

Heath Miller should make the pro bowl.

Suisham is the man. And I must say i was hoping they would have kept the other kicker during preseason. Glad I'm not a coach.

 

I'm not worried either, a lot of people were worried about the rust building up on Ben and it happened, now people are acting surprised that he sucked for the most part. He got the rust off and we didn't lose any ground in the wildcard race, we were still handed a gift. 1 real positive that I saw was DD in uniform, so now we have another healthy lineman, nobody on D got injured unless it happened after I changed channels after Bens famous INT at his own 20. This team is still very well balanced, it just has to click NOW!! another positive when we make the playoffs, we won't have to play any of the teams that only have 4 wins.

 

I thought this thread was owed a boost. No lost ground on payoffs today, Ben will be back and better (though I thought he held off on hitting few open receivers today), team will rebound from embarrassment, Dallas will be drained from their Ratbird game. All will be as it should be.

Well said. The worlds not over (at least not for a couple weeks) we can still make the playoffs and maybe go on a run.

Go ahead and decorate TE. Sing some carols, drink some eggnog and enjoy time with family. I know how you feel but the Steelers losing a game pales in comparison to the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Ben played well, the receivers played average, the D played above average, the refs called the game as if they had money on the Chargers, we STILL have a shot at the playoffs and we're not firing our head coach at the end of the season. Positives, IMO.

 

Ben had a decent game, but he missed some plays.

Wallace had a very good game, but he still missed a deep pass that he should have caught.
Brown isnt looking very good since his return.
Cotchery needs to be dropped down and let Burress see more time.
Sanders wasnt targeted enough.
Miller wasnt involved enough until it was too late.

the D played ok, but they didnt make any big plays when they needed to and they couldnt get off the field on 3rd downs.

the refs had nothing to do with this loss. the Chargers played a better game.

and your right. Tomlin isnt going anywhere, but he better figure some things out or he wont last as long as Noll and Cowher.

 

Eh, we've lost to the Chokers before. (I know, we were the chokers today!) But, we can still win our division and S.D is going nowhere and are going to hire their 13th victim.......er, head coach in 42 years! A new coach every 3.23 years. Those who want Tomlin gone should be careful what they wish for! Oh, and the great Whisenhunt? His team is down by a score of 48-0 as of this post.

Good thread I'm wearing my Steeler gear all this week. I'm gonna put my head up and take the ribbing thats comming from friends and strangers alike.

Ben, Heath are definate great spots. I'm glad for Troy, Clark and the CB's MINUS BROWN (Miss you already IKE). I like the play of Plex and Sanders and I would have liked to see them get more time this game. I was encouraged by Wallace and AB's late catches but I'm still done with Wallace (He needs to earn my respect back). I'm looking forward to Decastro and hopefully we get another Guard that can pull cause we need a run game. I like that Dwyer is only 23 and still could devolep into the back we need. ST well Rainy looked good (Sorry thats all I got there).

Win or lose I'm a Steeler fan but I perfer the wins!!!!!!!!!!!!
