I must have got 10 text today simply stating: J-E-T-S JETS! I think that is their war cry. I appreciate he is pulling for my team but I hope to hell he doesn't do this all week:)

After Pats came through I was very confident Seahawks would handle Jets. I was most worried about us. Now I'm confident in Bills and us ,it's those damn Dolphins that got me worried.

Do we want the Bengals tonight???? If Bills would win I don't want next week being meaningless for them. They would rest Allen.

I see the Titans/Jags are Saturday night.

This is better that the Bills win tonight(assuming that the chiefs win vs Raiders on saturday)...If both happen, the bills will play to secure the number 1 seed vs Pats

We want the bills tonight. If the bills lose tonight and then the chiefs win next Saturday night, the bills won't have anything to play for on Sunday. But with a bill's win tonight and a chiefs loss on Saturday, the bills won't have anything to play for on Sunday. I believe the best chance for the bills being forced to play for something is if they win tonight

Weird fact- the only team that can make the playoffs by losing next Sunday (actually, it's Saturday night's game) is the Jaguars.

Yes, the Jags could get in if the Steelers, Pats and Dolphins all lose.

However the Pats can get in too with a loss.

Titans, Steelers, Pats and Dolphins all lose the Pats get in.

I almost hate to bring this up with a young man's life on the line but what does tonight do to Bills Pats game?

    Prayers for Hamlin and family

It’s a fair question to bring up for sure. There are gonna have to be some tough decisions made by the NFL the next few days of how they are gonna approach this weekends game now with this Bills and Bengals game not being completed. Obviously the main concern is Damar Hamlin’s health and we hope and pray he will be okay but it still doesn’t change the fact that there is a final week of the season to be played still that just can’t be ignored.

$72 million dead cap. No way they trade him.

The opposite of what you are saying would happen, the cap hit escalates. The time to trade him was before the contract was signed. Or after 2024.

So Bill and Bengals will not be played this week. If the Chiefs win Saturday then Bills need to decide whether they want to go for the #1 seed or just take #2. #1 seed would require beating the Patriots and then completing the makeup game with the Bengals.

If KC loses to Raiders Saturday, Bengals beat Ravens, and Bill beat Patriots then I don't think the game affects any seeding.

But if the Bengals had won last night, along with everything you said. The Bengals would be the #1seed

    1. Don't be worried what people think of you. Your wisdom is legit and no way disrespect to Damar.

    2. The game has no impact on us. In fact probably pushes bills to want to win next win to secure their #1 so they can get a bye.

If this game isn't rescheduled, The bills can't clinch the #1 seed even if they beat the patriots. If the chiefs win on Saturday, they are guaranteed to finish atleast 1/2 game ahead of the bills

No matter the situation, and who plays or not- it is going to be very emotional obviously in Buffalo Sunday. I have seen quite a few Patriots games this year (I live in Vermont so they are always on) and this is not a good team at all, one that has consistently shot itself in the foot. The only reason they won last weekend was because the Dolphins literally threw it away to them. They have a good defense, but a lot of dissension on offense- just like we complain about Canada, so do Pats fan complain about Matt Patricia. I just don't see them winning in Buffalo this weekend.

As far as the other game goes, a Jets fan at work told me that the difference between a win and a loss for them this week could be 7 spots in the draft. So, that part of the three game parlay might be tougher to get.

The other to please remember people, is that the last weekend of the season is full of surprises, especially because of all the division matches. One can need look back no further than the Jags/Colts last year, when exactly 0% percent of us gave Jacksonville any chance.

And if one wants to look back any further than that- I provide you with this example from 2004:

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200501020buf.htm

The Steelers had nothing to play for, rested everyone, and emptied the bench to beat a Bills team at home who needed to win to clinch a playoff berth. Of course it helped that 2 of the Steelers "scrubs" that day were named James Harrison and Willie Parker.

In any event, it's hard to even care about all this right now.

Perfect. So we are in the same predicament next season! Not enough money to go around to keep quality talent at other key positions (DL/OL/LB)!
