How long can we blame the same players before we start looking at the coaches? How long do you blame the low level employees for lack of production before you start looking towards the supervisors? Tomlin needs to do something to change how we're playing. It's not just this game, this has been an ongoing problem for years now. We play unmotivated, undisciplined football, especially against weaker teams.

I honestly don't know if I'd rather lose to good teams or lose to bad teams if I can pick between the two.

Don't remember the last time I've seen it.

With so many people on this board its all one way or all the other way. It's plain as day that the players aren't executing. But people have agendas, they don't like specific people and then target them.

ESPN curse...... One again they all picked us to win. They did this also with the Titans, Raiders, and the Browns, oh and KC

High draft picks alone mean nothing. Other teams plug in UDFA onto their Oline and they run the ball at will. Like I said, perhaps it's not the players but the coaches. If we've used all these high draft picks and it's solved nothing, maybe there's a bigger problem. You kind of made my point for me though. How long can you blame the players, especially when most of them are highly touted, young players?

Ben is our leading rusher. WR's dropping balls. Holding calls. San Diego's line blocking better than ours. What we have is a total team let down. Not Ben's fault.

Just to re-iterate. I'm not blaming solely tomlin. I'm blaming everyone who has anything to do with the offense because they've been garbage so far. (Except Suisham.)

It's not one way or the other and that's what you don't understand. The players are playing awful, there's no denying that, but when the same group of players plays awful for 5+ years, it's time to start looking higher up the ladder to see if it's a systemic problem. Why can other teams plug in UDFA's and we can't even have a good Oline after spending tons of high draft picks on guys? Injuries are clearly a problem, as they always are for this team, but then perhaps Tomlin shouldn't have fired our strength and conditioning coach and replaced him with his own guy when he came to town. You can only blame the players for so long.

Tomlin certainly shoulders some of the blame for the team being flat this week. But tell me, who did you credit with the win last week? Did you give Tomlin any credit, or was that all on the players?

It's not logic it's fact. They're getting physically beat. Based on you logic I guess Haley is as bad as BA since the offense can't score any points right ? You can prepare all you want but all the preparation in the won't fix getting your ass whipped physically.

Ben isn't the problem on offense, game should be 13-10 with Ben's pass to #17 alone ...

Playing awful for 5+ years? What team have you been watching? Is there any team in the league that has been awesome for 5+ years? It's a competitive league. I'm not saying that Tomlin has done a good job today by any means, but saying that this team has been awful for 5+ years makes zero sense.

Trust me, I totally understand, I just disagree with the level of blame you think he should bare. And you throw speculation around as if it were facts. We were bit by the injury bug before Tomlin fired the S&C coach, so he tries a different route but its still his fault, damned when he does and damned when he doesn't.
