I don’t think we ran NOD out of Pittsburgh, I just think he got greedy. Can’t remember all of the specifics but seems like we were offering a $20 million contract and the Jets offered $25 million and a slightly longer term. He’d tried to leave the year before and signed an offer with the Bucs, but the Steelers matched it to keep him. It just felt like he tried to get out of Pittsburgh about the entire time he was there. After he laid the egg in the Super Bowl, it was good riddance at that point.

High Fidelity is better. Both have great soundtracks, but high fidelity is better in that regard as well

Kenny has plenty of arm strength.
He's not the Josh Allen or Justin Herbert who can throw the length of the field on a frozen rope.
But he is in the Mahomes category in arm strength.

There are some issues with the offensive coordinator, no doubt.
If I were in that spot (fantasy OC here) I'd tell him throw it to #14 deep anytime you want.

Mickey Loomis became Saints GM in 2000. Loomis had an incredible run and then you add Sean Payton to the mix, they had a good team for a while. Loomis built that SB OL and DL through the draft. This article from 2014 only shows the Pro Bowl players from 2003 to 2011

    https://www.espn.com/blog/new-orleans-saints/post/_/id/6724/saints-loomis-among-nfls-best-in-draft

2003: OT Jon Stinchcomb (second round)

2004: DE Will Smith (first round)

2005: OT Jammal Brown (first round)

2006: S Roman Harper (second round)

2006: G Jahri Evans (fourth round)

2007: OT Jermon Bushrod (fourth round)

2008: G Carl Nicks (fifth round)

2009: P Thomas Morstead (fifth round)

2010: TE Jimmy Graham (third round)

2011: DE Cameron Jordan (first round)

Both are great movies, but only one has Benny the Jet Urquidez in it....also Dan Aykroyd.

I won't argue. I argued a lot about not getting Rodgers, Wilson, and Watson.....I didn't want them. I argued that it was Canada, and not Ben last year........I argued that Broncos were being foolish...., and in all of that everyone that argued differently....only one stepped up , and said they were wrong.
The rest acted like they never said this stuff.
So it's a waste to Argue.
I'm saying S. Payton is a lesser version of M. Tomlin. If Im proved right You will just act like You never said it.

He hasn't thrown them accurately when he has gone deep so far this season, but I think he is pressing on those throws. That seemed to be what happened on the two throws he missed to Freiermuth a few weeks ago. I also think part of it is him being more careful after all of the early interceptions. The ability is there. The production will come with experience, and hopefully, a better offensive coordinator.

This....he has not had that breakout game, but has kept his poise and looks like he has leadership skills. Najee and Jaylen can be a decent rb combo, Muth has shown how some good strides...Pickens is pretty darn good.

Get the left side of the line solid..then see what we have...oh yeah send Canada packing lol. Cowherd said something about someone else today..forget who, but essentially said I don't care how much you move the ball..you have to score TDs. That's the thing we need to see next.

I like the Brian Sipe comparison for those of us old enough to remember. I also think of Dan Pastorini some as well. I think Pickett has more upside than both of them and will be a better QB in the long run overall.

I thought Sipe was the best comparison. Both kind of slender, calm demeanor out on the field and pretty accurate passers. Sipe also didn't start out great having only 1 TD pass with 8 picks after his first few games. He just steadily got better and was the 1980 NFL MVP that year.

He reminds me of an average QB that will be a serviceable starter in this league.

I'd compare him to Sonny Jurgensen except the problem is I'm 37 and never saw him play....

I'm 30 years older than you and I remember Sonny quite well. Sonny was more of a Bradshaw type who used his big arm to throw bombs down the field. Jurgenson held a lot of NFL passing records when he retired.

Agreed. So far I was totally wrong about His hand size. I really liked Him coming out, but I knew He never played in the same weather even though He played at the same field.....because He was done by the end of November, and NFL goes a lot longer.
So.....I was very worried about the hand size. I'm very glad to be wrong .

KP is a rookie and doesn't remind me of anyone other than someone trying to get acquainted playing in the NFL. Love the last drive of the game to win but that's about it. I think he's good and has the "it" factor but not confirmed yet. Board is funny in a sense that just a short time ago some on here were saying that we needed to pick a QB in the first-round next draft if so and so are available. What a few wins will do to liven things up. We're on a good streak but if we can't win against the Rats, will we see these type of posts again? I can't believe in anything until we beat a good team with a winning record and pass the eye test. Too many times getting my hopes up and then my heart gets ripped out. Now, on to the Rats and make me invest some hope again. JMO>
