I dont remember the exact date but it was early 2010s and the winter village was up so prob between thanksgiving and xmas. THe steelers were getting blown out. It was a 415 game, cold, snowing and raining. I wanted to leave in the 4th but the wife demanded we stay to the end because we paid for the tickets. After that game I go to my game a year before thanksgiving. Last yeara mnf game vs the bears was amazing weather. Played a round of golf, grabbed lunch, then went to the stadium.

Last time I lived there. I had to unfrost the vehicle doors....finally got that done....drive to pay a bill....wait in line ,and when I got back to the vehicle.....it was frozen over again. I was like F**k that. That weekend I moved back to Arkansas, and it was a whole 60 degrees outside.

With the weather we're gonna have here in the Midwest this weekend, I'll take that 8°. Hunting this weekend in 5° weather was a jolly good time.

I was in London and a Brit told me the formula to figure out C° to F° is to double the C° temperature and add 30. So if you see it is 10°C in Toronto then double that and add 30 and it comes to around 50° F.

Took my wife n kids to a game around xmas time against Ravens coupla years back, it windy, cold, sleeting! We froze, never again! Also took my dawter to Ravens stadium , was closer to York where we lived, took train outta Timonium filled with Ravens fans, Rain n cold that time too, but Ravens stadium has like living room set ups right inside door with big screen tvs n wrap around couches n bar is right bhind you, you hear the crowd noise outside but are nice n cozy inside, very nice stadium!

What are the odds some dude or dudes will have their shirt off? I will have to check with Vegas.

I will be warm by the wood stove waiting for Santa.

The coldest place I have ever been was Minnesota. The dry air gave me a nose bleed.

I'm just wondering how Harvin is going to do Saturday night. With the wind chill it's going to be around negative 10°. The ball is going to be like punting a brick.

I'm interested to see how Kenny handles it....

I remember reading some comment that Kenny doesn't like playing in cold weather or like the cold...

How is that any different from what we often see? Maybe we'll get to see what we experienced a few years ago when our punter was so bad his punts hit the back of the other teams player helmets and Steelers recovered with good field position. Something I dubbed "on-side punts". :lolol:

That's way too complicated. I like double the C° temp and add 30. The subject came up when he said that it was going to be a very hot day in London 31° C. Doubling that and adding 30 meant that it would be 92°F. Now it might have been 93 or 94° but that simple formula gets you within a degree or two.

Yup, that’s the formula I use. If not right on the money, it’ll get you within a degree or two.

Coldest game I was at was AFCCG against Ravens in 2008, without a doubt.

Not sure where that one ranks?

I was standing next to a 70+ year old guy who kept a group of us surrounding him all warm with Apple Pie Moonshine.
