I'm not defending nobody, but a lot of fans complain about the weekly presser, when you can get the cliff notes from beat writers. I never listen to it I'm busy at work at that time, but I see the media tweet what he said in the presser.

I think you and some others are getting confused. I don’t think it’s that people are defending Tomlin at all. I think it’s that people get tired of the same people being incapable of posting without criticizing Tomlin.

And pointing out things like the Steelers aren’t firing Tomlin isn’t defending Tomlin. It’s just pointing out the obvious.

    Agreed

And by the same logic and amendment criticizing people incapable of posting without criticizing Tomlin is therefore Freedom of Speech

Ok criticize away. But that wasn’t the point. The point is that you’re labeling people that get sick of the nonstop Tomlin bashing as people who defend Tomlin.

And by the way freedom of speech doesn’t apply on a message board.

I just don’t get why these guys can’t understand the point. If I say I’m sick of someone bellyaching about Tomlin. It doesn’t at all mean I’m defending Tomlin. It just means I’m sick of listening to you complaining about the same person over and over.

Bro it’s a fact. Freedom of speech doesn’t apply on a private message board. Hence if they don’t like what you say they can just revoke your membership here. What you think doesn’t matter.

    It doesn’t fit their narrative

Or they are incapable of an original thought

    Or they enjoy being pathetic

    Or they want attention

    Or……….

Freedom of speech is protection ONLY from the US government arresting and throwing you in jail for what you say. It does not provide protection in any other situation

I do it just because you don't like it. Watching you hop on your high horse to tell other people how they should act, think, and what to say makes me laugh my ass off. It's cheap entertainment and you take the bait. Every. Damn. Time.

    Fire Mike Tomlin Immediately

Don't worry, I don't. If you don't know the historical significance of yelling fire in a theater, there's no hope for you anyway.

Well, no. It applies to the “state”—ie, any governmental entity. And even to places historically viewed as equivalent to the old town square.
