It was nice to see Watt with 1.5 sacks today.

My favorite part is that the Steelers scored more points.

 

I think the Steelers need more than 179 yards and 0tds from the QB position. Mitch was a great game manager today. But to beat better teams we are going to need a bit more than that.

 

What I love is....go back ,and watch how much Help is going toward Watt by the OL almost every time someone else gets a sack. They are basically allowing one on one's just to slow Him.

 

That was why our Running game started to stall in the 2nd half. They were daring Trubisky to throw. I know it one play for sure Trubisky change the play ,and ran it straight at the 8 man front. I was like He is scared. Now He may have just changed what side the run went , but He definitely did a check, and handed the ball off in a 8 man front.

 

I was tough on the defense last week, but I have to give them a game ball for allowing only 21 yards rushing. That's impressive.

 

Was Muth not there?

 

Nice to see the Steelers win the time of possession battle. 36.11 to 23.49. Our defense was finally not tired

 

I'd like to see more targets for him and pickens. Extremely proud of the fight from the team. Annoyed with the boneheaded penalties and have to praise the punter once again as there was a high snap which he caught and held perfectly for a boz fg.

 

His snaps seemed to be limited. I think he missed time in practice during the week, so he is a little banged up. I also think they went with Gentry more to have the better blocker in there. They also had an extra lineman on the field some if the time. It was easy to miss because the broadcast crew didn't point out any of it. They were absolutely terrible.

 

Darnold had a real nice series the one drive for pittsburgh.

 

They were on the field too much early in the season, but that hasn't been the case for a while. They entered the game eighth in the league in time of possession. Of course, that will improve with this week's performance.

 

Yeah, that was the worst of it. Gumbel did it for half the game. An occasional slip is one thing, but that was pathetic.
