I got it. But the steelers need to take care of business. Thoughts on San Diego, the refs, and the steelers toughest opponent - themselves.

Our defense should be able to handle SD, don't know how much fight is left in that team but as long as Ben isn't under center, who knows

I'd like to say we'll handle the Bolts Easy but you never know with this team

We should win - especially with Ben.

I'm as optimistic as anyone, but when reality creeps in, this game will come down to the last few minutes of the game. The Steelers have to win the turnover battle.

    and
that pick6 or INT in the redzone by Ben won't help.

Should be a fairly easy win but it's those types of games that we seem to let the competition stick around for too long. Plus i'd say SD has nothing to lose at this point and that in itself makes them dangerous.

I just hope we aren't bringing Ben back too soon if he does in fact start. That's probably my biggest concern about the game.

Chargers lost 60% of their O-line last week to injuries...I hope our D-line is licking their chops...should be a long day for Rivers, but we need to protect the football and limit our penalties....because we all know what happens when we don't.

I've seen this team lose to Oakland and Tennesse, even with Big Ben playing.

I'm not looking past the Chargers and I sure as hell hope they don't either.

This game will come down to how disciplined the offense plays. The Steelers will need at least average play by special teams. I'm not worried about the D.

    And oh yeah... NO TURNOVERS!

I'm worried about the D not covering Gates well. We have a tendency to allow guys like that to run free in our secondary (See: Gonzalez, Heap, Gronkowski, etc).

lol, didn't we think that about KC? Under Tomlin, those games are far and few between.

It's not us who can't look past the chargers. It's the guys on the field. Just like we have a get back coach, we need a BI*CH Slap coach. When we play teams like this, he BI*CH SLAPS EVERYONE ON THE TEAM and reminds them to be careful

Can we crush them and not shoot ourselves in the foot by holding on to the ball? That is the question.

we never have an easy game... i would like someone to name for me .. the last 3 EZ games... we never blow a team out.. the steelers have no killer instinct.. none... so there are no ez games.. we let the bad teams hang around then often lose to them by a FG at the end...

As long as we get a W, Tomlin's not looking for style points, lol

I agree. We lost to the Browns 2 weeks ago. I see the SD game as a must win for us. We can't screw up against anymore AFC teams-- or we're done.

I agree to the must win as well. Especially as well as Cincy is playing.

I predicted that the Steelers' toughest opponent would be themselves. They didn't play their best today. They didn't even play good. The team that showed up in Baltimore last week went AWOL.
