Steelers seem to love to draft or sign brothers/family members.

I think we need to go after Joey Porter’s son in the draft.

This team is desperate for DB’s. This kid can play.

I'd rather have Marvin Harrison Jr. Could you imagine him with George Pickens on the other side?

I'm curious to see who Omar Kahn takes with his first draft.

I’ve heard people say Marvin Jr is going to be the best WR in the NFL once he arrives.

@Jammasterc you say that yet we have the Watt, Edmonds, and Davis brothers. Goofier stuff has happened.

It will be in the 2024 draft and some have him projected to be the 1st pick of that draft, but I don't see that

He's not eligible yet. He is looking like quite the player though.

I bet you unless there's someone, they really want that falls to them. I'm thinking they fall out of the top 10; They trade back and pick-up a another second at least. That would give them 3 2nds and a mid to late 1st. Possibly a conditional next year as well depending on where they're drafting. They need to keep Flores around for at least another year, before him leaving for another position would get them an additional 3rd.

Isn't currently ranked as the #1 corner on most sites? They need to be inside the top 10 to snag him I'd think. With everyone being so high on these QBs coming out this year; should see 3 go top ten then along with the Georgia DT Carter, Alabama Edge Anderson, the Penn State tackle then Ringo or Porter. Maybe some surprise picks in there and one of them slips down, but I see this team being @ Pick 13-16.

Yeah that kid is a stud. I highly doubt that is the direction we end up going though. Corner, ILB, OT would all be great grabs with our first three picks. Add a mid round OLB, CB #2, or DL and round it out with a WR and a G.

There's a site pithily named Tankathon that I'll drop by now and then if I'm curious about the current draft order. I can't vouch for their ranking system or draft prognostication, but the Steelers currently own the 12th overall pick, and they have Porter Jr. being selected there as the third-best CB in the draft (Ringo they have to the Eagles at 1.6, and Cam Smith to the Lions with 1.13).

Porter Jr. sits atop a number of CB rankings right now, but Cam Smith and Kelee Ringo see some top rankings as well. Christian Gonzalex is usually in the mix and Jaylon Jones is seeing a rise with the season he's had thus far at Texas A&M.

I do like Ringo as well, but you just know Porter has gotten sessions with Ike and Troy over the years.

I have Kelee Ringo (Biggest and fastest of the top 3) as the #1 CB currently, but it is very early.
Cam Smith should be closely following, maybe.
I do like Joey Porter and rank him high, but Ringo has a better skillset at Man, and I am looking at a shutdown corner that can follow the best WR and shut him out.

But I like to see the bowl games where big-time players step up in big-time games.

Also, I think the Steelers will not trade down if they are in the bottom half or lower than 12 ->15
But there is a decision to be made there.
Paris Johnson Jr. and Peter Skoronski (OT's) will be on the boards along with slightly lower ranked Olumuyiwa Fashanu.

I think I would OT 1st and CB 2nd followed by LB.
The rest would be line of scrimmage depth which include LB's.

You mean Weidl. This is the guy that's going to build the roster with quality. But Omar will get some props.

If a shutdown corner is there in the 1st you would have to take a long hard look. The corner situation is putrid. They are probably going to lose Sutton I feel he isn't going to take crumbs to stay.

If not you grab the best Left Tackle. I would think that Weidl will lean towards the trenches though.

Need more then one corner in the later rounds.

ILBer in the 3rd for sure.

Need an above average swing OLBer as well. Someone who can contribute as well as if Watt or Highsmith miss time they can play above the line. They don't have that player now. Maybe have to look to the FA wire for that player and identify your here to spell not start unless of an injury.

I know, right? re: the 1st pick. Tough decision.
I was of the mindset that maybe they would seek a FA shutdown Corner and draft in the trenches.
LBer - They most definitely need to improve speed. I don't like those quick 5'9" guys, I like the 6'2" speedy guys - like the Oregon LB.
They need that speed to cover (get to) the edges and size to match TE's like the Kelce.

I am afraid we may not see too many supposedly superstar players outside the CFP.
I see where Levis has already indicated he may opt out? This is where I am not in line
with all these bowl games. The top players are opting out. Then the people that have supported them
all these years spends thousands of dollars to go see their favorite football team play and they have opted out?
Is there someway to fix this? I am open for suggestions.

Boy I was unimpressed with Sewell, looked like he didn't care in this game. I was hoping to see much more from him.

I just read Porter is skipping his bowl game though. Steelers might not like that. I think KC said he didn't like it when they did that.

Peezy Jr opting out, yet boosters still pay thousands of dollars to go to watch their team
at these bowl games. More money than brains.
