To go along with S.T.D.'s music related threads, what songs have lyrics that you misunderstood, funny or otherwise?

I have quite a few, but I'll start out with this one.

I was with a group of friends camping one time, and one of my friends starting singing Jet Airliner by Steve Miller, but he thought the lyrics were "We going down to Carolina" and sang that non stop.

Scuse me while I kiss this guy

Give me fuel give me fire
    Dabba Dabba Dire

    Dire Straits. Elevated Fuel

Bob Marley. I want to jam it into you.

The Doors I'm gonna ride it ride it

Most anything by Elton John but, for me, the opening lines of "Don't let the sun go down on me":
"I Can't lie, no more Augie Dog nes"
Jackson 5s "I will try to let you go":
To this day, all I can hear Michael singing is, "Oh baby I will fly to Mexico...."

On Five Magics by Megadeth, the lyrics are "I master....five magics" but I always hear "thigh master....thigh magic."

GEEZZZZ.....this is a every day thing for Me....mainly because I don't really listen to the words as much as I listen to how the vocals fit as a instrument....so I can say almost every song I've ever heard. LoL.

This one isn't funny, but there's a Pink Floyd song on Momentary Lapse of Reason called Learning to Fly where the lyrics are:

Condition grounded, but determined to try.

    I always thought it was:

Permission granted, I turn to try.

Speaking of Manfred, use to have trouble with, "ripped up like a deuce" or "ripped up like a douche"

My sister had a friend that swore the line "No message could have been any clearer" from Man in the Mirror was actually "No mustache coulda bent any clipper."

That's the only thing I can hear now. Check it out and and listen to it while reading that, and tell me it doesn't sound like that.

Instead of "Die by the Sword" it sounds like they're saying Tabitha Soren........who was an MTV VJ back when MTV played videos.

    A few more:

"Every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you." (actual lyric is "take a piece of me). - Paul Young - Every Time You Go Away

"Where you going for tomorrow? Where you going with the master plan?" (actual lyric is Where you going with the mask I found) - Stone Temple Pilots - Plush

"The Dukes of Hazard are in the closet" (actual lyric - No dark sarcasm, in the classroom) Pink Floyd - Another Brick in The Wall part II. I was 100% convinced those were the words when I was a kid.
