If it was conditional we would end up owing them picks. Lol

As of today, does that give us number 34 in draft?

31-10 bears loss yesterday was the only thing. What that former Steeler does is moot.

    It’s inverse conditional

The worse he does the better our pick gets

I think his production helps decide if this was a good trade or not.

Technically, the Steelers would have the 33rd pick. There are only 31 picks in the 1st round due to Miami forfeiting their 2023 1st round pick for a tampering violation.

    yep

we WON that deal. CP sucks. i see big body WR's win all weekend long, he never wins. He is too soft, does not have a great vertical, won't be great in this league

But it was a good trade. A smart trade. I don't care if he lights up the night sky. This team needs an upgrade in crucial areas which this high 2nd pick hopefully will bring.

I agree. I liked the trade. We had his services for 2-1/2 years and are probably going to get a better pick in return. I know there were some that were against the trade. This just helps justify it.

I was against it, but not for Claypool....everyone on here knows I've been complaining about Claypool since His 2nd season, but I was just worried for KP.

I can understand that, but he was a Rookie QB killer with those missed opportunities.

I felt really good about the trade when it happened. I feel even better now. Heck, I would have taken an early 3rd if that was the best we could have gotten.

Even before his lackluster production for the Bears this was a lopsided trade in our favor.
I’m still trying to figure out what the Bears were thinking.

They wanted to stick it to the Packers who were also pursuing Claypool. Rumor is they were offering a 2nd and a late round pick for CP. In retrospect, CP would be a better fit with the Packs than the Bears

5-28 on 6 targets. Bears lose again... to the other team that wanted CC.
