Didn't get to watch the entire second half, but I thought Beachum represented himself well today. Kruger ate Adams' lunch in the first game and was relatively quiet today.

Beachum represented himself well today well for a 7th round draft pick. But he got alot of help from Foster, Heath, and Dwyer.

I had a gut feeling he would be just fine. After those first 2 crappy preseason games...he's improved a lot. Was he the best OL...no...but he played solid as i thought he might. Seems like Beachum will be the new Essex...as in playing all the positions on the line at or above average (as i remember reading that he was going to get some snaps at C eventually).

He did well with the assist, but the whole O line did a good job. They were out there fighting for Charlies life (LOL), and Beachnut benefited from that total team effort. Good stuff

Yeah, didn`t focus on Beachum, as much as Pouncey, and Legs, but overall, no complaints about the O-line...
Any day I can say that, is a good day!!!
Charlie had lots of time, most of the day.
Would have liked to see a little better run blocking, but as a unit, they gave Old Man Charlie time, for the most part, and that seemed to be the most important thing.
Outstanding?... No... Better than I expected?... YES!!!

he gave up 1 sack ( that he probably would not have if Foster had left well enough alone ) in an otherwise brilliant performance for a rookie 7th round pick

Yep, He had the guy in check and Foster actually blocked the guy off of Beachum. Also the ball was held too long on that play, but Foster actually helped the defender get away from Beachum.

I'm really liking all of our offensive lineman. Everyone is doing a great job, and Decastro hasn't even been in the mix yet. These are good problems to have!

so does max ,adams and gilbert. i saw twice that another guy came to help and actually hurt instead of helped him. good job though. he even got out in front on plays to the outside to block. pouncey too had a good game. as i have been saying for years we need mobile players on the line it makes a difference. one thing beachum has that most guys don't at 6-3 is long arms. 3/4" shorter than adams. thats why he can play tackle. he's smart as all git out. this is why he will play all positions within a year. good backup to have. i think he ends up a better player than gilbert before it's over with. he needs some upper body girth to go with the huge base he has.

Looking at him in preseason, I thought there was no way he could play anything but guard for us. Good for him doing a good job against a VERY good pass rusher.

Beachum has been adequate, but I still think we need to draft a Tackle next year in the late rounds...then our oline will be solid barring any injuries

i'd like that too, but we will struggle through with gilbert. i'd like a guard for colon too. actually a G/C type. pouncey showed how a mobile guard makes a difference. these guys just can do things that colon can't with their mobility. barrett jones is a guy that could fill many roles on this line. i love legs but if he can't play the guard spot too, we should move on to someone who can. this is what we need from that backup spot. this isn't a done deal yet on this line, i hope.

Beachum played very well.... that said, i still think his best position is on the inside. i see him as a willie colon clone.
